There is poison all around you. Bleach, Baygon, etc are poisonous and every year thousands of people attempt suicide by consuming a household chemical or pesticide. Many die. Yet these everyday items are not banned or regulated. Instead, they come with a warning and instructions on what to do in case of ingestion.

I've never heard of people drinking bleach or baygon for recreation like marijuana or drugs.

If criminalizing drugs and raiding Bollywood parties was prevention, you wouldn't have rampant substance abuse problems all over Punjab, UP, North East and most metros. There nothing wrong in acknowledging a system isn't working. ❤️

Legalizing drugs will open the market for more demand and production , which will make it cheaper.

People will start getting addicted and wasting life.

Drugs are expensive and not that accesible now, still there is such a drug problem.

Imagine if drugs are available freely, the people will lose productivity, money and ultimately cause lot of socio economic problems.

“War on drugs” has always been used to disproportionately target Black people and incarcerate them while the drug traffickers continued to thrive ( google CIA Mexican drug cartel ). Actual drug suppliers always get away with it while the consumer gets punished.

None said raiding BW parties was prevention. Raids happening everywhere where police suspect drugs can be used. but we read, post & discuss BW related drugs cases here because its a BW forum.

Not just punishment for the crime . Measures must be taken to eradicate d factors contributing to d crimes .
