Anupama sat on her bed completely confused but shrugged it off making her mind confirm that it was a coincidence..Its Not Anuj

Thats when devika snapped her out of her thoughts and said - Mae neeche ja rahi hun..tu dekhle iss baar last birthday hoga mera tu abhi bhi apne Inn rules ko side nahi rakhegi..for once anu keep your rules aside..try enjoying atleast in the last year

But anupama kept mum and devika walked out being annoyed with her principles and views on life..where as anupama sat on bed depressed on to accompany her or not..but couldn't..she took devika's phone and had a look on the book

She finally clicked on the first chapter & it read -

Bachpan ka zamana tha jo
Pyaar banke lauta hai jo
Rubaru jo haqeeqat banke aya
Iss dil ko abhi talak yaakeen na aya

She smiled at it and scrolled..it further read -

Iss baar shayad ye khissa Mukaamal hojaye
Ho payega na?

She turned nervous as though the question was meant for her..her hands automatically typed

- Hopefully!

And pressed on the sent button..it had many more comments above & none was answered

Thats when a loud bang on the main door irked her..she knew who it was..in her mind it echoed- ANUJJJJ

she opened the door and her thoughts were confirmed when his face appeared with a grin

Anu - tum hee ho..darwaza marne ki tameez hai tum mae?

Anuj - toh u were expecting me here?

She rolled her eyes while anuj barged in before he could sit on her bed she held her arm

Anu - pagal hogaye ho..itni raath ko girls wing mae aye ho..warden ne dekh liya na toh hum gaye..

Anuj - wo sab bunty dekh lega aur agar pakade Jane ka itna hee dar hai toh chalo na mera saath..kyun time waste kar rahi ho..anupama please 12 baj ne wale hai aur devika ka birthday start hone wala hai phir pata nahi next year koun kahan ho

Anu left his arm and asked

Anu - kya tum aj mujhse pheli baar mile ho..tum ye jante ho na ke mae kabhi bahar ghum ne nahi jati..jab mae apna birthday aj tak celebrate nahi kiya..toh

She stopped when a memory flashed infront of her and her inner voice echoed - anathon ka janamdin nahi hota

The words..the orphan tag..made her shiver..she tried calming her breaths..anuj looked at her and asked

Anuj - You are ok?..anupama

Anupama nodded and said loudly- please jao yaahan se..tum bas apna waqt zaya kar rahe ho..mae nahi aaungi

Anuj held her by her shoulders and said

Anuj - tumhe ana Hoga..for God sake devika tumhari best friend hai..uska birthday hai

The birthday word kept bringing her many nightmares..the incidents taken place in her past..she felt dizzy and held his shoulder for support..sweats formed on her forehead..

He patted her cheek but she fell over him and sub - consciously muttered - anathon ka koyi janamdin nahi hota

Anuj heard it clearly and it striked his mind..that his words had pressed some of her sensitive memories..played with wrong chord as well

He patted her back and sat with her on the bed that's when she said

Anu - birthday..mujhe mera birthday pata bhi nahi kab ata hai..

a sad smile played on her lips while she continued

Anu - mujh jaisi anath ki zindagi mae koyi khushi hai hee nahi..sirf zimmedari hai..mae devika ka din apni purani yaadon ki wajah se kharab nahi karna chahti..mere koyi shauk nahi hain mujhe janam din ki value nahi pata mujhe kisi ki khushi ki importance nahi pata..kyunke kisine meri value nahi ki na kabhi..kabhi mujhe priority ya importance nahi mili..I'm considered a bad omen..bachpan se yehi sab suna hai..isiliye shayad mujhe khud ko bhi yahi lagne laga hai..maine sirf anath ashram ki taraf apni Zimmedari puri karne ke liye iss college mae admission liya tha..iske alawa kuch bhi nahi..lekin tum log kabhi nahi samjh paoge ye sab..mae inn sab ke liye bani hee nahi hun..jab khushiyon se bachpan se dur hee rahi hun toh ab inki kya hee value samjh ayegi mujhe..waisey bhi agar ye saal enjoy kar bhi liya toh phirse wahi uss hee zindagi mae wapis jana hai jahan sirf Zimmedari hogi..phirse anath hee khe layi jaungi..toh ye sab kyun karun

Saying all this she fell unconscious in his arms

Anuj's eyes had tears..his hold on her got tighter..he picked her up and laid her on the bed and tucked her with the blanket

His phone rang indicating 'bunty'..he picked it up

Bunty - kaahan hai tu jaisey taisey hum bahar aye hain..aur tu abhi tak nahi aya..anupama ane ke liye tayar huwi ya nahi

Anuj gulped

Anuj - wo..wo jab hum bahar nikle na toh warden pillar ke paas hee thi..mujhe nahi lagta hum aa payenge..tu devika ko jis kaam ke liye le gaye tha wo pura karna..waisey bhi ye private moment hona chahiye tera aur uska mae aur anu iss mae kabab wali haddi nahi banna chahte..all the best bunty

Bunty blushed..but something striked his mind

Bunty - ANNNUUUUU..Haan?

But Anuj cut the call..and sat opposite to her caressing her cheek..

He picked devika's phone and video called his own number and kept it opposite to her face on the drawer table & walked out of her room..looking at the mobile

Anuj (in his mind) - mae nahi ruk sakta..khamakha kisine dekh liya toh tum problem mae ajaogi..aur nahi mae devika bunty ko tumhari haalat samjha paunga..ye Baath humare beech hee rahegi..aur waisey bhi tumhe kal kuch yaad hoga nahi..aur raath mae agar phirse panic attack jaisa kuch huwa toh video call se pata chal jayega mujhe

With all these thoughts he entered in to his rooms and sat on the bed caressing his phone while anupama slept peacefully

Afternoon 12:30
PASV College Cafeteria

Vikram and devika sat looking at each other smilingly while an over joyed anupama asked

Anu - aare batao bhi na..devu tu hee bata tune Haan ki ya nahi

Devika nodded in positive blushingly

Anu & Anuj - Omg..

Anuj - finally tumhare ye best friend tag committed wale tag mae change hogaya

They hugged devika and Vikram respectively

A while later the four sat having their lunch when Vikram asked

V - anuj tu kal raath soya nahi tha kya..mera matlab hai ankhien dekh..aur tune darwaza phele knock pe hee khol diya tha..tu toh 100 kumbkaran mare hongae tab jake paide huwa hoga

Anuj - abbe tere liye hee jaga tha na kahin raath ko koyi dekh leta toh..kitni problem hojati na

Devika - aree wah anuj..waisey itna sab karne ke liye thank you

Anupama tried remembering when anuj had went outside but she couldn't get a clear picture of it..thats when devika patted her shoulder

D - anu atleast ab shaam wale celebration mae toh aja..

Anuj gulped looking at anupama what if she goes through another panic attack so he held devika's hand

Anuj - arre devu..tu chod na iss padaku ko..tu apna mood maat kharab kar..sham ko double treat deni padegi tujhe

Devika slapped his hand and nodded giggling

At 6:00pm
Hostel

Devika was getting ready while anupama took devika's phone and refreshed the feed to get off her guilt of not sharing devika's happiness and for avoiding her

The conversation board caught her attention and she saw a quote posted 2 hours ago - it read :

Become a part of someone's happiness for once
& you might find peace for a while;

Future is unpredictable so don't destroy your today for it!

Get going with the flow!!

A determined Anupama ran upto devika and hugged her from back & muttered

A - mae arahi hun tere saath devu

Saying she ran upto the washroom to change while devika jumped in happiness

D - par ye huwa kaisey..jaisey bhi ho..mae bohat khush hun..

Later she called anuj and bunty informing them about anupama joining them

A boy stood crossing his arms around his chest, head kept on the pillar and with a wide smile said - I KNOW YOU ARE READING WHATS MEANT FOR YOU "ANU"

A while later devika & anupama joined Vikram and anuj who were waiting for them at the back side of the college..it was an isolated corner where hardly anyone can see them

Anupama had Unknowingly twinned with anuj who was wearing a red - t shirt paired with black pant where as she wore a knee length red kurta with black beads on it paired up with black leggings

Bunty declared

B - ab ek ek karke sab diwar kudenge..jaldi karo

Anupama eyes turned wide and she asked being astonished

Anu - kya..diwar kudke jayenge..tum teeno humesha yahi karte ho

They three nodded showing their 32 teeth and devika said

D - anu please yaar yaahan tak aa hee gayi hai toh mana maat karna please..

Anupama nodded nervously..while bunty stood on the short wall slab and jumped and devika sat and jumped and Vikram held her..anuj looked at anupama and jumped off the wall..while anupama fiddled with her fingers

When devika called her slowly- anu

Vikram tugged devika's hand and muttered in her ear

V - devika mere saath chal..yehi mauka anuj aur anupama ko saath lane ka..inko inke imagination world se bahaar lane ka

Devika nodded excitedly and exclaimed - mae aur bunty ja rahe hain Tum dono bhi ajana

To which anuj said

Anuj - tu pagal hogayi hai kya?..wo mere saath kabhi nahi ayegi..tu kyun hum dono ke aise situation mae dal rahi hai..

But the duo (devika & Vikram) had escaped..anuj sighed and called anupama

Anuj - suno..wo dono toh gaye..isiliye ab mae hee hun idhar..toh tum kisi tarah wall climb karo yahan mae tumhe sambhal lunga

Anupama asked in confusion - par climb karun kaise..

Anuj slapped his head and climbed the wall and came to Anupama's side and lifted her by her waist with in seconds

Her breath hitched..she turned nervous at his hold on her..but sat on the wall and turned her legs to the other side while in the mean time anuj jumped off the wall and stood infront of her & said

Anuj - tum apne haath mere shoulder par rakho and jump

She could just nod and kept her hands on his shoulder but she didn't jump which made anuj to hold her waist..and he ever so slowly brought her down..she closed her eyes and gripped on his shoulder tightly while he did so

Thats when they heard the puppy barking at anuj & he jumped off in fear where as anupama stood giggling & bent infront of the puppy and caressed the puppies face

Anuj in horror exclaimed- kya kar rahi ho..dur hato uss doggy se..wo kat lega toh

Anupama eyed at him and said

Anu - ye body ainvayi hee banayi hai tumne..ek chote se puppy se daar rahe ho

Anuj - haan toh..kisine bola hai kya jiski body hoti usko kisi cheez ka daar nahi lagta

The puppy went away and she stood up

Anu - ab chaloge ya wo puppy ko tumhare upar chod dun

Anuj - arre nahi..

He in fear held her hand tightly and started walking..and while later they found devika and Vikram in the pastry shop

Very interesting totally new story of college time well done

Finally its here!!!!! I just wanted ki weekend pe kuch mast mil jaaye🤩 but to my disappointment its not mast🥲 its zabardast🤣🙈 anuj's care, anu's panic attack, bunty n devika couple wow 😍, mystery man, the hold by her waist and the growing closeness.. and ofc the shayari.. sab hee superb tha👏🏻🥰
