Audience thought Sultan was tortured and broken, and needed female lead to heal his heart etc. Maybe director was hoping for similar reaction to Sufiyan's character..? 😳🤣

Well , then director should have chosen a better actor. Even Feroze's character in Ishqiya was of a stalker one, but these actors made these charaters grand ( not justifying their wrongs , nor it is right to romanticise them). But the actor here is so dull, neither he has that charm and Charisma to attract audience , nor acting skills. Giving him so much screen time does not make sense, it is like he is forcefully imposed on us. This drama would have been so much better if Sufiyan would have been played by at least an actor of Usama's level. There have been dramas where two leads are and their interactions have always been a treat to watch despite one playing the villain. Here, Salman's acting ruins every essence of it and makes his intercations with other good actors in this drama completely dull considering he has the most interactions amongst all with other actors , even more than the leads ,which is quite annoying. I was so close to include this in my story of how the director did a blunder with a casting of Sufiyan but then i stopped, do not want to use harsh words for the actor publicly by tagging him.making him feel bad

Yeah, if that was what they were going for, then Sufiyan was seriously miscast. Like you say, he doesn't even have a little charm or charisma to tide him through the bad acting. He just reads lines with a neutral face and dead eyes. He's not entertaining or even fun to hate, everyone is just annoyed when he shows up. I agree that it would have been more fun if someone capable could go head to head with Shehroz and play his foil, but it's a hopeless cause here. 😕

~

Just saw the promo, Sufiyan shows no remorse, but good that Mehnaaz has found out what he has done. I'm glad that Naima is the one saying Sufiyan to the police, all the others don't seem to realize how much damage Sufiyan is capable of or they seem to have too much mercy. Kindness is not needed here in this situation. Ushna and Zainab looks shocked, so maybe Mehnaaz told Naima everything instead. I would be very disappointed if either Ushna or Zainab found out but held back the truth.

The episode was a bore. Watched it in fast forward mode. Wasn't this show about 2 people who don't like each other but forced to get married? They literally made them fall in love just 2 days after marriage and viewers are left with Sufiyan's frozen face and double frozen emotions. The actor is so bad that he isn't able to express the real emotions, otherwise the thing Sufiyan has for Ushna is lust, not love. He isn't ready to get out of his own fictional world where Ushna loves him, palne wali maa is a villian, and Ushna would come to him and confess the love if he managed to kill her husband. Obviously there can't be any better match for you except murderer of your husband.

Raeesa was so sure about his laadle ki kaali kartoot, she didn't need anyone to tell her that obvious thing. This proves she was always aware about wrong doings of her kids, but never bothered to correct them. In fact supported them for every wrong thing. Today she was bit concern because she's shit scared of Wahab.

If there’s going to be 20-30 more episodes then I’m worried the story will get more convoluted. There’s going to be new tension and problems. There will probably be some conflict with Naima. How much story is left to tell? Shehroz and Ushna are pretty much in love already. I hope there’s no separation phase.

To pull off characters like Shehroz, one needs to have charm and charisma with decent acting skills and he is doing such a good job. The guy desrves lead roles in good dramas. He has done so many bad projects so he never got to play such a layered character, in strong supporting roles, he was not noticed much. Hope, he gets some solid lead roles after ASA.

Anmol is good too but she still needs to work on acting skills. Well, her outfits in the drama are so good. If she has done her own styling , then it is really a good job she is done. She is very pretty too.

I am glad that both the actors are getting noticed by a larger audience through ASA especially Usama. I love how he does transitions in his scenes , so well.

It is proved that if good actors get good scripts and exposure, they can prove their potential. Usama did some really bad projects as lead , so his acting skills never shone and hence no one thought , he would come out this well when he gets a full- fledged layered character in a very well written drama with good ecxecution as a lead with lot margin to perform. His screen presence is good too. Characterisation do impact acting of people.

Also, Anmol and Usama has such a good chemistry. ASA gave them that exposure which could not happen in their previous drama Noor.

I liked Usama in other dramas well well but here he is nailing it. Aisa lag raha hai ky shehroze ka Character banna hi Usama ky liye tha

Usama and anmol have amazing chemistry.

Also, the way Ushna used to answer back to Shehroz, why can't she give such a hard reply to Sufiyan? Her replies seem so so pheeka. Ek do karara jawaab degi toh dil ko sukoon mil jaayegi.

Phir jawab nhi tapar bhi banta hai kyun ky laaton ky bhoot baaton sy nhi mantey

Now he is a complete villain, still we are getting sad wala ost on him. Woh bhi uski ankhon main zoom kar kar ky dekhaty hain aur ek ansoo bhi nhi hota

Naeema shouldn't change

sufiyan must be jailed no pardon

how is it Ushna's fault if SS is obsessed with her but khair FL pe blame aata hai but not in Wahab house

Hopefully they will not butcher Naima's character. She is like ray of positivity in this drama.
