1) may be he is still upset with akshu and doesn’t want to share the same bed. He goes to sleep on the couch, falls asleep and Akshu takes advantage of his sleep (ahem ahem!) and hugs him because she misses him.

2) may be akshu has decided to empty another one of her suitcases and the couch is the only place available to rest.

3) may be the whole sequence is a dream and anything can happen in dreams 🤷‍♀️
