Ushna never saw Sufiyan in a romantic light, she never loved or liked him in that way. Her considering his proposal is a massive brainfart caused by her being fixed with Shehroz, whom she hates. She saw Sufiyan as lesser of two evils, but failed to take his family situation into consideration.

The biggest chance that Sufiyan had to obtain Ushna's love was when she was stuck in that house with her mom being abused left and right. He could have stepped up and protected her and Zainab, but what does he do again? Yes, he's a selfish coward that is all around useless, he just stands back watching them get hurt while pretending to be helpless. What use is there for love declarations and empty future promises when Ushna and her mom doesn't get even basic decency and respect. By the way, those public love declarations also constantly got her into trouble and she has asked him to cut it out multiple times. Ushna is a practical girl, she has to be with how greedy and ruthless her relatives are.

She was shown being sad and upset when she practically had to cut ties with Sufiyan, but that's because she's a decent human being. Sufiyan is her cousin and was kind to her in the past, she feels a bit guilty for his family business going bankrupt too. But that's it! It annoys me when Sufiyan and Shehroz interpret this as an act of love or whatever. LOL NO.

I can't wait for Ushna and Shehroz to get married, it'll be funny if they get into an argument. Shehroz always threatens to tattle to Zainab while Wahab and Naima is on Ushna's side. Wahab even made Shehroz go back to his room when he was making threats to break Sufiyan's face. 🤣

What's wrong with money anyways? Without it he wouldn't have the leisure time to go be a pest at all hours. He's so spoiled and entitled, walking back into his room and cushy life after yelling at his parents for caring about money instead of his love. He doesn't care about anyone else's circumstances, he knows about Zainab's situation with money, but he's so convinced that she's a greedy golddigger. Being realistic does not equal to being morally corrupt. Any mother would choose someone that has a simpler family situation with in-laws that don't act like tyrants, and someone that is fully independent with no money issues.

sufiyan likes to bring up money because that is his go-to argument for love. the only argument he can use. why? technically in all aspects, shehroze is a far superior proposal that any parent would be happy with. shehroze is not only well-educated but he is focused and driven. he might have got funding from wahab but the company he created is the result of his hard work. so shehroze is independent and not riding on his father's money. zainab has also judged shehroze to be a loyal man who will go out of his way for those he loves -- this makes a great match because we know that he will protect ushna when she is his wife. he is not going to sit there and let anyone abuse her for being adopted.

in comparison, what qualities does sufiyan have that will make his proposal interesting? nothing. he is still jobless, aimless and basically a loafer living on his father with no financial responsibility. even his friends are working and settled. but not him. he is also selfish just like his parents and a dud who will not protect anyone because he silently agrees with his parents. so in other words, not only is he a bad match job wise/financially/education/, he also will never protect ushna emotionally. instead he will just sit and watch and then complain that ushna is not doing her best to get along with his family. that is what he did when they lived in the same house.

basically the only thing that sufiyan had as a selling point (in his mind) was kinship ties. however, both zainab and ushna (in many ways) have rejected those ties as not worthy. both his parents and himself cannot believe that kinship ties are being rejected because that would mean they have to take accountability. so what else is left? so rather than admit the flaws of his proposal, he takes the high ground that zainab is choosing wealth over kinship. however, even if shehroze was just a humble employee and this was just a middle class family, zainab would have still chosen shehroze for ushna.

he never thought that there would be other offers for ushna. he always assumed that the only offer she would get is his. huzaifa throwing in his card threw him for a loop but that was quickly dismissed. shehroze on the other hand cannot be dismissed so easily.

also feel that it is high time ushna lets out her fiery blunt self and pours fire on sufiyan. for so long she has been super polite and said over and over -- "this is my mother's choice. I don't have a problem with her choice and I will marry who she picks". beause of the way she has phrased, it looks like this is zainab's decision and not ushna. sufiyan uses this as an excuse to keep his stupid stalking going on. the narrative has to shift to where ushna bluntly says "shehroze is my choice" and also tells him directly she never had any feelings for him. it will change the dynamic where instead of fighting for zainab, ushna fights for shehroze!!!

I don't blame shehroze for gettting jealous or frustrated over sufiyan. any other family would have called the proposal off after seeing the antics of sufiyan -- because it continously casts ushna in a bad light and makes it seem like she has feelings for the moron and is encouraging him. that is the narrative both raeesa and mehnaaz tried to sell -- ushan as the temptress of young men. ushna is actually really blessed to be marrying into a family that does believe her sense of honour. while shehroze may be frustrated and ask questions, he is willing to listen to her yelling when she says that she never called sufiyan over. so he accepts that it is sufiyan who is the real problem. same with naima and wahab.

while shehroze knows how she feels about him because they fight about it all the time, he does not know how she really feels about sufiyan and what a nuisance he is being. just as zainab confided in wahab and that changed the whole dynamic of the blackmail situation, ushna needs to open up to shehroze and let him know -- he will more than step up and take control. he is wahab's son in that regard. that will change the dynamic where sufiyan realizes that she is not alone and cannot be emotionally manipulated. instead, she is in a relationship with shehroze.

their fighting style is rather hilarious because it is so childish. it will be hilarious to see the family dynamic with the parents on side and these two squabbling. can't wait! 😆
