Chap 26

Imlie rested , she looked at the time it was 3 am. She slept on cold forest bed, she was shivering in cold but she didnt care. She felt warmth after sometime thinking its a dream , she didnt wake up. But then she felt movements jerking her eyes open to find Aru . He was here, cuddling her giving his body heat.

“Aru leave” she said and turned her body other way. When he didnt,she got up picked her bag , “Seems you wont let rest as well” she started walking, she was exhausted but she will do anything right now to go away from Sukoon.

He stood there until he couldnt see her anymore. He will get her back, right now she is too angry and hurt to even listen to him. He walked back to Sukoon determine to have conclusion to the mess tonight itself. He wants to know the truth. One one side he doesnt want to belive his mother could be so heartless and on other hand he knows Imlie would never lie. He knocked at his mothers door.

She opened the door, confusion and maybe fear in her eyes visible to Aryan.

“You lied to me didnt you? “ he asked bluntly.

“What are you talking about Aryan? Did that girl filled your ears again with her lies?” She asked with detest.

“I want to know the truth the day she landed here” he said ignoring her comment.

“You know the truth. There is none other, will you doubt your mother now? “ She raised her eyebrows accusing him trying to him in guilt. Aryan stood there , “Mom the truth please” he asked last time he was losing patience. But she was obstinate. Then she realise this whole time that he remembers Imlie, “Wait you didnt lose your memory?” She asked stunned.

“I heard your conversation with the healer and Danish. I made a plan to isolate myself by acting to lose memory. And look it worked, Danish is happy, you are happy and Imlie? She left me because i gave my love up because i decided that my mother will never accept her , my mother will blackmail me with her life so this was best idea i had in mind. But that turned out to be mess too. I never seen her that way mom, today she left me the strong fiery girl i fell in love with shattered because of me, because of us two. So lets end this today” he exited the room , Narmada followed him she had feeling he was about to take drastic step.

He went into torture room, where bad wolves are chained with Silver slowly killing them. Basically human death row. He tied himself up with the chains, but Narmada kept begging him to stop but he didnt hear one bit. She came near him but he stopped her with a loud beastly growl.

“Stay away Mom, i am done with everything- Lies, betrayal , fakeness and most importantly our relation “ He was controlling his rage, he stayed there chained , silver already burning his skin.

“Anyways she gone mom, you win yay” he said sarcastically. “You know mom she told me you inflicted her soul, she heard you wanting to kill her but still i am in dilemma knowing she isnt lying and knowing my mom cannot be that heartless. I miss her mom, i love her” he started weeping like a child. Veer and Arjun came running, they could feel their Alpha rage as they are Beta and Gamma. “Aryan!” Veer and Arjun both went started to take chain off, he didnt stop them, he was too broken to even hear whats going on around him anymore.

He didnt get up, he stayed there on knees, sobbing quietly.

“Wow beta wow, for that ridiculous woman you are talking nonsense with your mom. Trying to hurt yourself? She is not worth it Aryan. There so many lycans out there worthy of being Luna. She is immature , childish and selfish. I wished i had killed her the after whipping her that day!” She yelled at Aryan in hatred “She is the reason today everything is breaking apart, Sukoon too!”

Aryan was shaking in rage, his wolf gnawing him to come out , he couldnt control anymore and his beast came over him.

“You whipped her?You want to kill her?” His eyes were red, his nose flaring up and he ran towards Narmada taking her by suprise pushing her to ground. She sceamed for help, but Arjun and Veer knew the beast, the Alpha will kill anything off in his way. He growled at Narmada and finally with a snap - ripped her head off. It fell all the way to other side of the room. Blood spluttering everywhere, the beast was bathing in blood. He was finally satisfied, but he was dying too, without its mate - the beast is nothing. He looked over his commanders and with sad eyes the beast was gone and his human form was back.

Aryan stood there, looking at his bloody hands, and the blood around with his mother headless body. “Leave “ he said softly to Veer and Arjun.

Respecting his orders, they left. Aryan took his mom body and hugged “Why mother? A mother’s heart is supposed to fill with love, kindness, empathy but -“ he couldnt speak another word, guilt eating him up for killing his mother. He had no choice, his beast wanted to take revenge of hurting his mate, keeping her away from him. He picked the body and her head, and took it to the grounds. The whole Sukoon had came out that night, as Aryan butied his mother. They all were terrified, a lycan will never kill its own unless it went beyong their power.

2 months later-

Imlie resigned from Mr Desai company, she now works at another company. Her mark gave her pain every night, her fae after leaving sukoon never showed up. Her wings doesnt come through, she was depressed. She just survived for her parents and Ishaan. Ishaan tried his level best to cheer his best friend and sometimes he would succeed but next day she would be same dull ridden Imlie. She tried a lot moving on, the pain mark gave was because she was away from him, she would scream in pillow until she felt asleep no longer feeling the pain. Maybe her fae died or became dormant, she didnt care anymore.

One day Ishaan urged her to go that infamous park where she had first met Aryan. “Please imu, its for my project. I need some hot shots from you!”

“Get a model Ish, you can afford “ she replied

“No you always been my model, dont be selfish!” He scolded making her feel guilty.

“Fine but one hour only . Try to get as much you can” she said.

The photoshoot was almost done, he wanted a last pose. “Ok its very cheesy pose, but all you have to do is do marylin monroe pose that famous white dress one” he said excitedly

“I know, just do that pose , pout and kiss and slight side profile “ as he directed her Imlie got into the pose and she looked little sideways, her eyes went wide. He was standing there, staring at her with love and adoration. He look like a mess. Unkept beard, dark circles under eyes, dull eyes, face leaner, he was Aru but he looked half dead.

“Oh my god, this came out so good” Ishaan yelled in happiness as he scrolled through the role in his cam. Imlie straightened up and looked at Ishan , “Lets go” she wanted to run and give him a hug but all her anger came back.

Finally he killed her mom... I thought some different punishment must be there but she deserves to be.. Love the part where he was giving her warm bcoz of cold and separtion from each other had broken them till depth can be seen....

Yup.. next chapter is last!!!
