I liked GM once but the way he has ridiculed the show and the platform/show after his exit, I have lost all respect. He has become arrogant and the way he talks bad about the medium, I kinda think he had some conditions which PH didn’t agree too and he left with half heart. If he was a real sport, he wouldn’t have bad mouthed a business which is still running… NOT COOL. Lot of people didn’t know him before Imlie, he gained popularity and the 1500 comments per pic in IG as he says we’re coz of Imlie, he shouldn’t forget that. Arrogant people always get lost in crowd… there are lot of stories as examples.

I'm extremely sorry to differ you first of all GM hasn't badmouthed anyone infact it was the makers who constantly took a dig at him regarding his age and what not nd instigated nd pitted 2fds against eo. He has never belittled any medium but has openly called out certain things that doesn't align with his opinions. ITV produces such mediocre content and at times shoddy writing gets saved only due to performance of actors and there's no wrong in calling out the sloppy writing. Tbh Imlie became such a successful venture of 4 lions because of IK plot line that hooked ppl to and performance of the leads nd their chemistry is an extra feather on the cap. The current storyline is so rudimentary and not out of the box nd most importantly ppl connected with the original trio and their trials and tribulations so no matter what that can't be undone nd with such balderdash and shoddy plotline it will fall even flat. Coming to the chemistry each person is different and so is the chemistry so there's no comparison. Whether u hate or not Gashmeer is an excellent actor and his chemistry with Sumbul is one sole reason the show became extremely successful despite an unconventional plot line and chemistry isn't just about physical proximity or rudimentary push pull scenes. Chemistry should elevate the acting prowess as well as the connect and rapport shared between 2 actors nd I disagree to say this Adilie stands out nd gives those yesteryear couple feels with slowburn romance as their usp . Adilie and Arylie can't be compared as the relationship basement, characteristic traits everything are poles apart. I personally feel Fahmaan can nail normal characters and this so called angry young man image doesn't really fit him. He was good in his previous shows nd here I don't find that oomph factor. I think I don't get bashed for saying this nd I believe everyone has the right to voice out one's opinions wo hurting the sentiments of others nd here I'm doing so. Now coming about GMs popularity these frivolous sm interactions, followers and hype doesn't guage the integrity of an actor instead his or her work speaks for itself. I admit I didn't know Gashmeer b4 Imlie but that doesn't make him unsuccessful. Many ppl didn't know who Fahadh Fazil was b4 but that doesn't mean he was unsuccessful but now his work is speaking for itself and he's recognized all over the world. Gashmeer needs that one break to get noticed like that and there wont b any turn back so please don't consider social media nd social media hype as a yardstick for success. Gashmeer has never ridiculed the show. He entered into the world of itv coz he was running short of money nd he said that umpteen number of times. He always said he would balance the show , movies and web nd d ph agreed to it earlier and I really don't know what happened later on. Showcasing one's talent and confidence isn't arrogance nd narcissism that's called being aware of oneself and ones strength nd weakness. Gashmeer has never ever taken any solo credit for the show nd has always appreciated Sumbul and wished well for the show even after his exit . He appreciated the writing of the show when it maintained superior standards first 200 epis especially the pre lock down epis of Imlie were gold that reminds of ott format. Time and again he has said that this show gave him a lot nd Adi will always be special for him but it's certain cynics who dissects his each nd every tweets, action nd statement nd tweaks it to form their own illusions and spread unwanted hate and toxicity what kind of obsession is thar? If ppl hate him y follow him nd spew unwanted hate and toxicity? Walking out from a hit show needs sheer guts and he's not the 1st one to do it nd y is he d only one put under the bus? He entered into itv because of his financial crunch and that's the truth and the way he was treated by d ph I don't think he did any wrong by saying that he's scared of low cash in his account. It's the mentality of people to find fault in everything and spread hatred nd negativity nd sm does this to an exponential level . Yash also walked out from tv for movies rejected 7 movie scripts despite being a beginner and look where he's now ppl who called him arrogant are showering praises so it's all about that one dream project that puts u in the map. If d ph was indeed good many actors from d same ph wouldn't walk out . The recent walk out of Manasvi is a proof that the problem was indeed with d ph tbh I don't wanna delve deep into this issue it's better not to comment about this as half knowledge isn't great as it lead to unwanted commotion. Gashmeer has never mocked Fahmaan instead he always praised then y r his stans brutally scrutinizing and harassing him ? Inorder to show loyalty towards one putting the other is bad its applicable to both fds. Constructive criticisms should be made but slandering comments should be avoided. At the end of the day all are humans nd gets hurt and the vileness of ppl to cast molestation accusations on Gashmeer just to elevate their favorite is outright malicious and inhumane. Gashmeer is here to stay nd he won't get lost in the crowd. His contribution towards this show can never be forgotten nd he left the show at its peak. The constant habit of saying trp drop due to 20 sec Adi nd ts scene and taking all the credit of 3.2 trp for a 2min ddlj seq all were balderdash. The duration of scenes doesn't matter an excellent actor eats up the entire screen despite limited screen presence nd Gashmeer nails it. Fahmaan is a good actor but Sumbul and Gashmeer are a cut above. Fahmaan was the best opposite Sweta Tiwari I'm Mere Dad ki Dulhan and he's not able to do justice to current grey shaded character but I personally feel he would have done a fab job as antagonist or the good one but this layered grey shade isn't his forte and it's d writers nd dirs fault for making his character monotone. All the previous trp was for the trio nd d anticipation of wat Aryan will do to Adi nd Adilie so once that was done d story died down trp dropped so we cant blame any1 its d makers thats to b blamed nd not d actors and makers r winning in that department by creating divide and rule policy. So it's totally ur choice to like nd support this show and actors but giving blunt statements like Gashmeer will wither out indirectly coz of his arrogance and misinterpreting things isn't so cool. It's a trp thread so better stick to that since u wrote an essay I was forced to write one !

GM was quite a new comer in ITV unlike FK.

Still he took the show to No2 along with Sumbul.

An actor like FK who had done 3 shows before couldnt gave a stable trp nor couldn't increase it.

AdiLie ko chodo Adini marriage was 3.2 Airline 2.1😆see the difference . Even AdilIe marriage was 2.9 twice

Please I am seeing anupama too .that show had same trp 3.1-3.6 position1 in last ipl season too still maintaing it 😎Ghum was below 3 position3 they r still in top 5 😆 and imlie trp was 3+ . position 2. Now out of top5 trp 1.9

Conclusion :

The TRP increased and decreased depending on the story progress with the plot and has nothing to do with the actors . The one to be blame Is the writers and directors . I am not going to deny , I was happy to see the TRP drop ,

Reason :

1. The story plots I have seen in first 200 episode been repeated

2. The way they butchered Aditya character is unacceptable ‘

3. ASR entry as rude and arrogant man 👎🏼

4 .The story jump from one to another without a proper closure

3,FK angry young man does not suit him . He is the ML , He should not going around punching and getting aggresive . He should be a wise man and can’t be easily be manipulatated .

Sincerely from bottom of my heart other than above mentioned reason I have nothing against FK . All my comments in all the threads direct to ASR not FK accept for eyebrow lifting 😂😂.

Finally lets us concerntrate with FK as ASR and ST as Imlie only as GM as AKT is already a history , no point talking about him ( Mocking and Bashing ) He already move on with his life and career and it better to stop finding fault on all his comments and statement . Don’t comment base on asumption without knowing the actual story .

If can’t give credit to his hard work and success a better option is not to said anything .

When I achieve something in my life , I like to share it with my friends not bcos I want to boost about it but I just wanted to share my Happiness . That what GM did when the collection hit more than 8 crore .

Well thank you so many of you people for sharing your POV… it’s simple like you guys are not finding FK great…Arylie FD didn’t find GM great. Let’s peace with the fact people have different choices and can’t be forced.

Also, I reiterate, I said I found GMs recent interviews arrogant. You may not have. Again your opinion. I am not forcing mine on you, I just discussed mine. Thanks for the long explanation but I still feel the same.

Thirdly, I said I didn’t know him before. You may have known him. Good for you. I have no regrets I didn’t know him earlier.

Lastly, to some who feel GM is discussed due to his popularity, I beg to differ. He is discussed only and only in this thread and only when some viewers say he was the TRP earner for the show and needs no story to shine. My view is simple he was a part of the show when the show had a good storyline and hence audiences liked to watch it. Unfortunately, the makers haven’t been able to deliver a good track for long so the falling TRP. Again my opinion solely.
