I heard about dhoni when he started playing for Bihar Ranji in 2000s. He did very well and should have been picked for 03 wc but Ganguly and his stupidity made many players missed that team. Then by extreme chance or luck ( as people always associate with dhoni ) ten sports showed an A team tournament in Kenya. Dhoni beat pak team black and clue and he was so non indian which hit the sixes with brutal power. India never saw a six hitter like that . Kapil dev was good but he was more of a bowler.
