Quite a mixed bag today like every other Saturday episode. 😆
First things first, Felix was right, this week is triple elimination so we'll see three contestants go home tomorrow. But on another note, Shilpa as usual added so much to the show, I don't know there's this personality of hers that matches a lot with kid's reality shows. She was fab as usual with her antics 😆
Coming to the performances-
Dance to impress:
Absolutely LOVED Anshika. She killed it today for me. I've honestly not liked her performances that much throughout the show till now but she completely blew my mind today because of the intricate choreography. Tushar really amped up the difficulty level plus loved the concept of Peacocks with a song like Chura Ke Dil Mera...who would've thought.😆 Best part of the performance was that they didn't kill the essence of the original song by adding unnecessary beats. It was mixed perfectly and the way Anshika did the popping movements like a peacock were fab. She was too good today and I think she was robbed off the spot.
Geet and C-Company were pretty average. There was nothing new in Geet's act.The same old Bollywood Sonali style choreography and C-Company was really bland today due to the choreography. There was hardly anything for them to work on. And for the first time found C-Company out of sync. Both quite meh performances but was shocked that the judges chose Geet over Anshika. Even their reactions for Anshika were better.
Fab Fusion:
Once again Riddhi from Team Tushar killed it on stage. Uff, it was the performance of the night for me. Would've never expected Riddhi of all people to ace Afro and Cabaret. She was so so good and that swag..woah! 🔥 And like I said earlier I liked that they kept the choreography like an innocent kid would dance to than try to add suggestive moves. Plus how can we forget Riddhi's choti 😆 This little girl is surprising me the most with every passing week. What a graph for a six year old. 👏 Also did anyone notice Tushar added two of Florina's steps too today- one the flying kiss one when Tejas was dancing in the dedication performance and another one in Riddhi's performance (the one where she silently screams with her hands covering her ears). Cute touch, reminded me of Flow. 😆 But YET again, I feel Riddhi was robbed when they declared Raiz the winner.
Raiz is an amazing dancer and gymnast. Malkhamb is a really difficult style to learn but I know the guy has practice in it since he had participated in a regional show where he did something similar I think. So it was definitely not 'new' unlike Riddhi for whom this is the first dance show she is participating in. Plus there was hardly any dance in the performance, only stunts. Which were fab but still I think Riddhi and Tushar justified the challenge much better than Sonali and Raiz. Though I would really like to see this guy in Super Dancer probably. Where he will get to dance every week and get solo attention. Since he is a fantastic dancer.
Bad week for Prateek since even OC was pretty underwhelming. Ek toh I'm tired of seeing Bihu being added in these fusion styles just for the sake of it while there is hardly any Bihu in their dance. Upar se Pratiti and Shweta has SPOILED me with their Pinga fusion dance which I think was one of THE best fusion dances in the recent past. Plus they had one of their best dancers- Yash missing. So didn't find anything new. Like Neetu said they have a lot of potential, Prateek needs to bring that out.
So overall I think Tushar was robbed twice and he should've won both the rounds.
