While John Abraham was shooting for his film Aashayein in Pondicherry last year, he was in search for some hope in real life too. The media was speculating his breakup with Bipasha then and he was going through a rough patch in his personal life.

So John Abraham shifted his residence to another hotel to be in isolation from his entire production team while shooting for Aashayein . Little did he known that actually it would work as a soothing balm for him emotionally.

The owner of the Duplex Hotel, an old lady, as it turned out to be was a huge fan of his... and has collected all his articles and photo shoots from his first film, Jism, onwards. (Incidentally his debut film Jism , too, was shot in Pondicherry). The hotel boasts of a huge library, which only has write ups, newspapers and magazines on John Abraham. Nothing else at all! No other newspaper, no other magazine.

Since John Abraham was going through a very difficult patch, this endearing old lady's affection was soothing. She was almost like his mom. Since John Abraham didn't know about this before he shifted, it came as a very big and a pleasant surprise to him. What's most interesting? He had not read or seen half of the articles about him, so it was rediscovering for him what was written
