I thought the show was about Anupamaa changing herself to a better person, but it has become about changing every woman on the show to Anupamaa.

Before we realize even Kavya, Rakhi and Leela will become versions of Anupamaa.

Oh god, the similarities were so jarring. It didn't sit well with me. Why do this to a little kid?

Pls drive the message that no one should be anupama. Neither should anyone bear such abuse for long, and nor should they forgive their abusers in name of love, respect, elders and achha insan.

Forgiveness is good actually, it helps you move on. But staying back with your abuser and giving them 2nd, 3rd, 10th, nth chances is not!!

Well i don't mind forgiveness per se, if it comes with detachment.

But Anupama's idea of forgiveness is more of a Stockholm syndrome which i do not approve.

Pining for love and acceptance from your abusers, existing to please them, is not okay.

Forgive, learn your lesson not to waste a moment on them again, move on. I stan this. But ITv FLs will never be shown like that, because at the end of the day, ITV thrives by re-instating toxic patriarchy in society in name of love and family.
