What actually worked for the movie the most?

Shahid's acting and the music are of course amazing (can't pick one).

But Vanga seems to be an interesting director with some erratic tricks up his sleeve.

Forget toxic masculinity, the plot, and the problematic parts.

Just see the movie from a very technical/cinematic point of view. This guy Vanga has gone against the book and yet made a pretty gripping movie.

I think that's what made the film a big hit.

unpopular opinion, but I don't think it worked because of the toxic masculinity reason.

It worked because of the reasons listed in the poll.

I'm not denying that there are some idiots who actually liked the male character and his toxic stupidity.

All I'm saying is the movie became a hit because it had something worthwhile in it.

It's a well-made movie guys.

If music is the criteria it's being judged upon, then I prefer Arjun Reddy.

But in above options, voted for Sandeep Vanga's direction. Great director, horrible storyteller.

TBH, he was amazing but not the main reason the movie worked.

He was amazing in Jersey too but that movie flopped big time
