Chap 18

New term- LUNA .. basically Alpha’s mate , in charge

Her legs were giving away, it was almost nightfall when she finally decided to rest. She tried lit fire by trying to create fire but she was down on energy maybe thats why no fire was getting created. Her anger can bring it out but she doesnt feel angry either. She was just dead tired. She rummaged through bag for food. The locals were kind enough to provide her with ample of snakcs and drinks. She ate looking around the jungle. It had longest trees she ever had seen, she didnt find anything scary yet. It was weirdly serene. Her phone had no network she wanted to update Ishaan but too bad.

She put a blanket on the forest bed, and lied down. She was exhausted her legs were hurting too much but she will not give up. Too much rustling of leaves woke her up, she sat up looking around with her phone torch. Finally she saw two figures emerging from behind the bushes. She got up, keeping nerves in line .

It was two men but she knew they were werewolf, she felt little relieved atleast she can get their help on meeting their Alpha. “Hello” raising her hand in surrender, to show she is not a threat.

“You are trespassing “ a bald tall guy said

“I know , am here to meet Aryan” both of the guys look suprised

“How you know him? “ one of them asked

“I am his mate” she said the fact

“Yes right, his to be wedded wife just arrived today morning” he laughed

“Dont lie” bald guy gave signal the other rushed to her grabbing her and shutting her mouth.

Then they hit her making her unconcious.

When she woke up, she was in prison like place. It was hot and mucky, she got up and tried yelling for help but nobody was there to listen.

They had kept her bag next to her, she tried her cellphone but in vain. She sat down hiding her face in her knees. Her real fight has started already, she heard the iron gate open of her cell. She looked up hoping its Aryan but her smile faded , it was an elderly woman . Her face looked serious, her lips a thin line.

“I am Narmada, Aryan’s mother. You must be Imlie?” She asked frowning

Imlie nodded smiling, “Yes and am so happy to meet you. I am sure he told you i am his ma-“ Narmada stopped her “You are nothing “ she said. Imlie was confused but what she said next cleared her confusion.

“He is getting married to Danish sister to keep Sukoon safe. I despise humans even fae, so feeling pity for you i have decided i will let you go tonight”

“Can i see him?” Imlie asked. She knew from her statement Narmada will never like her and she didnt care anymore. Why is she imposing her decisions on her son?

“No . Luckily he is out of Sukoon for two days. Before he comes i need you out or you will face consequences “ she threatened her.

“I will see him and am not afraid of any consequences. Does your son know how much hatred you do have in your heart? You dont even know me and just because i am human or fae you made your judgements “

“DO NOT TALK TO ME LIKE THAT!! I WAS ONCE A LUNA OF THIS PACK”

“SO?? Its time for me being a luna not some random chick you got her” she argued

“You are insolent” Narmada said angrily

“You are ignorant “ Imlie replied folding her hands on her chest. She didnt feel guilty one bit for answering this old hag. The venom she was spewing , the hatred so visible Imlie knew this type of people never change.

“I will see you get punishment right now itself. REHAAN!!” Narmada called out.

“Iron chains and a whip” Imlie was stunned at this woman action. Aryan was opposite of his mom, he is such a caring, kind man and her? She doesnt even have words, but she does have her magic. Her anger seeped in , her hands glowed, three men were approaching with chains she had to act fast. She threw ball of fire on Narmada’s hair. The men ran to her, trying to extinguish the fire, but the damage was done. She will be bald, and Imlie couldnt control her laughter. The woman had gone unconcious, but the men looked at her and grabbed her before she could use her magic again. They chained her and dragged her outside to a dark barn. They tied her to the tree and just left. She sat there for hours, when finally Narmada in rage came, her head was covered . She had whip in her hand , “You vile girl” Whack she hit her, but Imlie smiled defying her even more..

“When your son finds out he will be ashamed of you” Another round of whip on her back, she sat there laughing on the old hag.

She doesnt even deserve respect.

Rehaan was scared, he tried stopping Narmada , “Mam please let her go, this kind of punishment Alpha banned himself”

“I am the head , until my son comes back. Do not tell me what to do” she growled making hik submit to her Luna tone.

“No water or food “ she threw the whip and left. Rehaan stood there staring at the woman, who was haunched in pain, her hands tied but she looked up smiling. “Thanks atleast you tried” she said. He nodded in sympathy, “I tried informing Alpha through mindlink, but I couldnt get to him.”

“Leave before you get in trouble” Rehaan sighed and left the fiery strong girl alone.

“Idiot look what i went through, but funny thing is i love you so much that this pain is nothing. When i said i will fight i meant each word” She said loudly talking to the sky. She felt asleep, on the stones, a hand caressing her head woke her up. It wasnt morning yet, when she fully opened her eyes she saw Suhaani crying. “Mam, oh my god” she covered her mouth not believing what she saw.

“Suhaani?” Imlie looked at her confused. Suhaan sat across her sobbing telling her about Danish, her brother and forcing her to marry this unknown man. Then everything became clear, when she found the man was Aryan. She doesnt want to marry Aryan, her mare is Arjun. Arjun doesnt know yet, she is too waiting on the three men to return. Rehaan told her about what occurred tonight, she came running not caring if Narmada finds out.

Imlie told her to hug her, Suhaani hugged “Its ok Suhaani. Atleast you know from right and wrong. We will fight this together. You think am going to let you steal my man?” She joked .

“I would never” Suhaan said

“I know. Go before that Dumbmada comes” Suhaani giggled

“What did you call her” she exclaimed

“Sssh our secret “ Wiping hers and Suhaani’s tears. “Am not going anywhere” she winked , Suhaani huggef kissing her cheek and left.
