If Harsh has a problem with the way in which Abhi is behaving, he should take it up directly with him. Not blame Akshu and Manjari for Abhi's actions! Neither woman is responsible for Abhi's behavior. If tomorrow Akshu is in danger or needs help, should she refrain from calling her husband just because she knows he might burst out in anger? I don't think it works that way. I thought it was a really natural thing for Akshu to call Abhi in hopes of getting that patient some help!Originally posted by: iheartChai
I do not condone Harshvardhan words or behavior in the way he treats Manjari, Neil, or Akshu.
His words are always laced with extra poison only becauae he personally feels a certain way about them and yes he will take any opportunity to blast them if given.
However, his point about Abhi going to the charitable hospital and blasting them was right. It was not handled properly even if that hospital was doing something shady. Harshvardhan does love his PR and he is a selfish egotistical jerk. But Birla Hospital is the lifeline of the family. Anything happens to the hospital its over for them hence HAM being extra paranoid about what the media says about the hospital and why they do anything they can to protect its name. Their probalem is they need to balance this with family and speak appropriately in a non aggressive taunting tone to their family members.
I see from all 3 characters their point of view and understand what Harsh was saying but becauae he was saying it in a vile tone it loses its meaning and purpose because it shows up as just another opportunity of blasting someone.
If he had said things calmly and not used nasty words his actual point would have come across and quite frankly Abhi needed to hear this because he was the one who overstep to go to the other hospital and cause havoc there.
I know Akshu's intent was to treat the child and she did not call so that she could get Abhi to come over to blast the hospital. Hence her disappointment with the way Abhi handled himself that ended up with the child not even getting treated. Abhi's anger leaves a path of destruction and people have to then face those consequences and clean up the mess he leaves behind. This clean up has generally been Manjari’s job and now Akshu is added to the clean up crew.
Abhi has to learn to not to always fight things with anger and learn when to handle certain situations with sensitivity. Had he quietly taken the referral, the boy would have been treated. Then if wanted to lodge a complaint or talk to the hospital manager he could give his warning but handle it with a much more responsible way.
As for the hospital. Harsh and Abhi both have different reasons for being in the field that they are. Harsh wants acclaim, fame, and a good reputation. Abhi, on the other hand, just wants to help people. And, what Abhi did yesterday will end up helping people in the long run, because the next time these people want to commit fraud, they will likely think about Abhi's threats. I don't think what Abhi did was necessarily wrong -- again, where he went wrong is not considering how his actions would impact his wife both at work and at home!
Harsh has turned the hospital into a money making machine as evidenced by the fact that all he talks about is money and profits and investments as opposed to patients getting care. Abhi was so angry when he knocked over the cart and I wonder if a part of him was personally triggered because Harsh does similar shady things at the hospital or has done so in the past!
