My take on this is - DKP is just gauging audience reaction - there is no adoption coming anytime soon - they are testing waters, most likely it'll just be a brief visit and seeing how audiences react, as we all saw twitteratis don't like adoption now - they want married life, nok jhok, anu's progression etc

Likely adoption down the line 4-6-8 months down the line - there are a lot of topics right now -

Kinju's godbharai

To your suggestion that Anu can't have a baby naturally - (it might be risky, she might not want, but it's not unheard of)- although in this case, Adoption is a better option as it completes Anuj's story, he was adopted and he gives a home to 1-2 kids, so even though other options are there for the story's sake - Adoption is a better route - IMO

I don't think adoption is going to be there immediately even with case of Kinjal( going by today's & Saturday scene)

Exactly like you said there is lot of thing on platter for the makers & introduction of the little kid is just setting up base for future.

Also if you go by past track record of writers they can't handle too many topics in one go. They are just laying down the foundation for future track.
