I like both kareena and aamir

But this seems like one of those vanity projects Kamal Hassan sometimes makes to show off what a good actor he is

Also the scene by scene dialogue by dialogue remake-ness is putting me off …so is aamirs portrayal ….

The Box of chocolates dialogue is a classic…it’s essence is to appreciate life for what it is given there are such varied flavours ….it fits the theme of the film given it’s about a protagonist going through various ups and downs …

is ko golgappas bana diya 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️…pet bhar jaayega Mann nahin bharega 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ …what does that even mean? That ur greedy in life no matter what? Cringe

I am very confident in my prediction as to how the film will fare at the box office...but, as usual, I won't reveal my prediction until the week of the film's release! 😛

All of my predictions for Aamir films Dhoom 3 onwards have been 100% accurate:

-Dhoom 3, PK, and Dangal were all historic Blockbusters

-TOH was a Flop

All I can say is....my box office prediction for Laal Singh Chaddha will raise eyebrows of many!😉

His acting in Dhoom 3 itself was bad. He always shits playing a "mentally challenged" person as it never looks convincing....and audience expects a different performance when actor plays a challenging role. Not something which they've already seen.

Also, AFAIR, Samar was autistic in Dhoom 3, and here Laal is not that, he's simply mentally challenged (never watched Forrest Gump so correct me if I'm wrong). If it's not the same type of role, then same type of acting method can't be applied. That just shows actor's and the makers ignorance towards mental health.

I haven’t seen Dhoom3. If Samar was autistic then that’s a completely different situation than just being mentally challenged and having a low IQ, which is what’s wrong with Forrest in Forrest Gump. So the question now becomes did the script and filmmakers of Dhoom3 do any research about autism and did Aamir try to portray Samar accurately? Or was everyone just being lazy and everything focused on the high speed chases and good thief incompetent cop angle?

In the beginning of Forrest Gump it’s mentioned that he has an IQ of 70 which puts him well below normal threshold. So Laal Singh is definitely mentally challenged. How well he’s acted in LSC will be determined once the movie releases. For me personally I think he’s doing fine in the trailer.
