I realise this is a pretty fcked up thing to say but the frequency with which this is happening means at one point people will just become desensitised and stop batting an eyelid. How much funding do the gun lobbies give parties? I can only imagine how insane the amounts would be. If Biden makes it to a second term, then you can MAYBE expect a much bigger push from his side against gun laws but right now, I wouldn’t expect anything.

It happened in a city of 80 % Latino population. There is a good chance that Latino community doesn’t want to get in trouble with authorities and risk deportation by protesting. Also look what happened to the parents who tried to ask for gun controls . They got smeared instead and nothing changed.

To whoever it happened to. Collectively everyone needs to be out on the streets. These are little kids.
Yesterday a Mother whose son died in similar shootings was on tv and when host asked her, she cried. I can’t get her out of my mind. She has been fighting since and no success.
