It was a grown woman who should have known much better than to insinuate something like that but she did -- I didn't say much out of "respect" for her, and also cuz she was one of my very few allies at a job I hated at the time. I would have made sure to turn the tables if it was a guy hitting on me in a twisted way by questioning my sexuality. 😆

SmittenKitten will work for me since everyone thinks I’m a crazy cat lover (it’s true) and on top of that I’m a crazy Aishwarya fan. The username and DP suits me to the Tee. 😆

Ah, I’ve been in those situations where I had to keep my mouth shut because the person was much older than me. I only give those kind of people one chance (depending on how close they are), before they have to answer to me.

Having to walk on eggshells in general is just not a good place to be in no matter who it is. I do that even with people I'm close to and care about ... which sucks, I can't help it. I'm just not direct unless absolutely necessary.

You're pretty assertive -- it's a good thing in my books. and I could be wrong, but you come across as someone who would never play nice just to keep the "peace" or to avoid an argument.... either on principle or because you value honesty even if it comes wrapped with a few barb wires. 🤣

It's both; though majorly it's because I find 'niceness' suffocating. 😆

In short, too much bullshite wears me out. 😩 Thoda bahot to chalta hai. Bullshit that's within limits is good for health, but too much is depressing. 😥
