why someone has to die? If shivi died, Akki should be doing the rituals nah? why is ram doing them? and if ram is doing, pri should be there nah? Why isnât she there? Wait a minâŚ. Did something happen to pri as well?đ˛They are so obsessed with separation so why not Ram-Priya lives together with their daughter but Shivi's death & Soods dynamics creates a huge distance b/w them. To the world they are husband-wife but in solitude they know where their relationship stand they are together because of their daughter. From here they can show how their daughter brings her parents closer & makes them fall in love all over again

Eijaz Khan played two characters in this show Kavya Nanda & Dr Soham infact was he actually replaced the original ML of the show
Those days even with shitty tracks it was clear cut & straight forward. The writers knows their genre & editing was crisp. God knows where are they now
Youtubers write their own scripts sometimes better than the show's writers!đ¤Łđ¤Łđ¤ŁActually You tube has one fellow that shows precaps and gives commentary on it and he too said that Ram is deliberately sending Prius away as he has learnt something related to Nandu .
The one thing that's majorly wrong in this show is how a 32 year old and a 39 year old gets easily influenced by their parents and relatives and let them control their marriage. This is highly unrelatable in this day and age. Nobody is this naĂŻve as they show!!! This is the root cause for the failure of the show!! It's sad that the writers are still sticking to the 80s and 90s concepts in their story telling...

This show was always made as a shortcut from a business point of view . Use the brand name of og BALH , get a good cast, copy paste FL from ZGH , but beyond that they had no vision on how to take the story forward. No solid script ready even for the first 50 episodes.
It was never made dil se like EK said. We never got the simple scenes of promo like Ram Priya chit chatting in the balcony discussing rain , and munching pakoras.
I was thinking of re watching the BALH2 episodes. But then when I check the episodes list, I was like what should I re watch .
The show had no solid script after prenup contract signing. There is literally nothing for me to re watch .
The stupid prawn drama starts from RaYa marriage , followed with annulment drama , paneer drama.
3 good episodes during Diwali and boom comes Vedika .
Makers had no idea how to handle this, thela kaand, kachori kaand all cliche tracks used.
Vedika Kaand over ,boom comes accident kaand.
They didn't know how to execute this, messed up all the timelines and changed Sara's entire family history, roped the actor Krish and told him about the possibility of love triangle , then did not understand how to use him in the story, everything is so chaotic now that they themselves don't know how to clean up the mess.
Makers of any show would normally try and experiment different tracks to check what gives TRP, but in case of BALH2 I don't see any experiments.
It is the same loop since ages. Few RaYa moments surrounded by illogical never ending negativity .
TRPs reached 0.7 once and was around 0.6 during the initial episodes. For past many months , it has been fluctuating between 0.4 and 0.5 .
So I think overall this show is neither catering to saas bahu audience nor the online audience .
So probably they r thinking , let us make it a proper saas bahu show, bring in separation, or kid, bring in tragedy , appeal to the emotions of audience and try to save the show ??
My only issue is, they could have given at least one genuine chance to cater the og intended audience for whom the show was made.
It is not difficult to give 100 good episodes matching the vibes of the promos , reach a saturation point after squeezing everything possible from the love story and then try leap kid etc etc.
All SonyTV shows have good writing, realistic clean execution . Having watched 3 good sonytv shows Kuch rang s1, EDKV s1, YUKBH , all of them had a solid script and YUKBH managed to get really good TRP's as well without any typical melodrama. In comparison to the quality of those shows BALH2 is really a sub standard product. No continuity between scenes, weird editing, focus on everything other than the leads etc etc .
The makers of this show seem to be not interested in bringing in quality content. They r exploiting RaYa chemistry and dragging the show , without doing hard work on the quality of writing, editing , direction etc etc .
Like why will they take the entire cast on an outdoor shoot in Alibaug , and still not give nice meaningful scenes on a beach , or anything outdoor.
Instead the stupid fish curry drama. What was the need for that weird black color party the previous day?
I think they genuinely don't know how to write continuous scenes. Koi itne bure ajeeb illogical scenes kaise likh sakta hai ? Like kaise ??
I haven't watched og BALH, but based on whatever I have read here about the beautiful tracks of that show, BALH2 hasn't delivered even 1/4th of the og show. They really better shut down the show than cause more embarrassment by deteriorating the quality further . Sigh !!
That's EXACTLY what's happening.
The entire Alibaug sequence was so pointless. Also the sequence where Varun was introduced - they shot at an actual hotel, for what? Those scenes were so inconsequential that they could've been shot literally anywhere and it wouldn't have made a difference.
Like someone said on đŚ, show mein 'thehraav' nahi hai. There's a lot of noise and not enough silence. We need scenes that may not serve the plot but enhance characterizations and relationships. Inki toh alag hi train choot ti rehti hai - they're always in such a hurry. Na planning hai, na execution.
Even NM and DP look like they're doing the scenes for the sake of doing them - their dialogues feel half-hearted. And they don't even resemble Ram and Priya anymore, just not-NM and not-DP.

I guess they r just banking on N-P acting and chemistry to pull anything off...
Inconsistency in every storyline and timelines be it the side characters background or even supposedly the main plot (VK murder)
Butchering of all characters starting with Vedu.. Sara... MM.. now they are not sparing the leads also..
Random disappearance of good characters (Twinkle.. Neeraj... Brinda) and entry of stupid irrelevant ones.
Illogical and extremely dissatisfying closures...never ending kaands... random Lollipops to justify that's it's still a love story...
I have been filling up the blanks here and there with help of IF friends... Forgiving the weak plot in name of ITV and EK show... Accepting and moving on coz its still so much fun to see NM and DP acting. They give such lovely and natural scenes.
I feel this show is an EK experiment on how much crap she can sell and the audience will still buy... How much illogic inconsistent and down right stupid plot they can write and the actors will still deliver something beautiful with their acting....
(I haven't yet watched the last five episodes however still wanted to rant.. coz reading the comments here.. i guess the show is already gone down the drains... Will watch now only when it's over)

Don't even ask. You know I don't remember but once I watched an IV by a director who said if you, yourself don't like the movie you made, then don't expect others will like it.
Arre, forget about big shots, I would not write a piece if my heart is not in it and how would I expect that anyone who is reading it will like it? In the same way, I will never read a book by an author who writes 10 books in one year. Imagine the quality of that author? I even replied to NM that I kept writing on Raya on hold. When my heart is not in it, why should I write?
I can't fathom the fact that how can anyone destroy their product? Matlab main ghar banaoon aur usse demolish bhi kar doon ya phir foundation aise banaao ki woh teek na paye? Kaise? How? and why will I do that?
