Chap 3

Mr Desai and Imlie parienly waited in the office for the man who had threatened them. Imlie wanted to punch the guy whoever made Mr Desai so stressed . Her boss was gentle soul, she never seen him this stressed anxious. A knock came on the door, “Come in” Mr Desai answered. A man with curly hair walked in first, then another guy who was as good looking as first and third person walked in shocking Imlie. It was same guy from park. He froze too , as if he didnt expect anybody else in her. He quickly gathered himself. They all sat. Their eyes were like hawk , and this third guy is definitely chichora Imlie thought why is he staring at me like that?

“So Mr Desai as we mentioned we would like to buy your company asap” The guy with curly hair started the conversation.

“But why? And who are you people?” Mr Desai exclaimed.

“Sorry let introduce. I am Veer Singha, this is Arjun Rana and this is our boss Aryan Singh Rathore” So his name is Aryan, Imlie noted.

“ We are businessmen and we have our publishing company where we come from”

“Where exactly is that?”

“Sukoon”

“Sukoon?”

“Yes thats where we from. Rathore publishings. We are giving you best offer. Your position stays same however Aryan here will visit the company everyday.”

“Listen all of you, this is my company and i do not want to sell it. And if you threaten us i will report to police” Mr Desai said nervously. Imlie was about to add before that Aryan interrupted,

“You like tamarinds alot?” Asked Aryan staring directly at Imlie. Imlie was flabbergasted at this man question, “Sorry what?”

“Tamarinds , your name is Imlie right so ..?”Aryan asked.

Veer started coughing at his friend question, knowing how idiot he is sounding.

“How you know my name?”

“I know everything. I like to know what company i am buying and who are its employees “ He smiled.

“No i dont like tamarind can we talk about the matter on hand right now? You guys cannot come in here and just demand to buy company. This is not sabzi market” she said

“What is sabzi market?”Aryan scowled and looked at his friends

These people are weird for sure , maybe he is making fun of her.

“Hey Mr. look enough of your crap leave my boss alone or you have no idea i know kungfu” she lied.

Aryan chuckled , “Yea sure kungfu. Look Mr Desai am ready to give you in dollars. Offering you 25 million dollars” He said seriously.

Mr Desai went into shock but also thought that is lot of money for the small media house. And he still will be in his position.

“Excuse me, Imlie “ he told her to come near him.

“Its a good deal Imlie that is lot of money. We can do so much renovation, and expand. And he did say i can still be boss. I am now starting to like the idea”

“Your choice Boss but this man is weird. “ she whispered back

“He will be just visiting not interfere i will mention that to him” he looked at the men.

“I accept however i do want interference of any kind when i make professional decisions”

“DONE” Aryan said loudly giving his hand out for handshake. Mr Desai shook his hand sealing the deal.

He gave his hand to Imlie , “No thanks Mr Aryan , you see my kungfu is coming out right now I might hurt you” she smiled fakely.

“I would love to see that Imlie” he said softly.

“You should try tamarind Imlie. I tried it today first time its yummy” He winked.

“Are you nuts? “ she got up angrily but Mr Desai hold her hand reminding her that this is an office and now they are the main boss.

All three of them laughed and exited the room, Imlie was pissed , idiots!!!!

Arjun started laugning as soon as they sat in car, “Man Aryan she is funny” he said

“She is beauitful too “ Veer added

Aryan growled in jealousy, “My inner wolf doesnt like anybody talking about her like that. She is mine” warning his friends

“Oh jealous my boy” Veer teased.

“An this is going to be hard. Her scent, its like coconut mixed with some floral scent. I cant keep away from her” He said looking lost

“You are lost case”

“No am not its the bond. Me and her can never to be together. Nor i love her. “ He said warily.

“Hmm” Arjun sighned. We shall see Aryan how long it takes you to fall in love.

At night Imlie researched whatever she could on the killings that Mr Desai had mentioned howeve she was little bit distracted by the obnoxious Mr Rathore. And worse thing that she has to see him everyday in office now. She banged her head on table. Tomorrow she will go to all the crime sites and dig in talk to people around the area. She will do after the office time, that way she can finish up her rest of pile of work thats been pending.

Next morning, she half excitedly dressed up knowing that she going to see that idiot.

Her colleagues were as usually chattering but they could hear the excitment in their tone. One of the girl even said that new boss is hot! She rolled her eyes , yes hot but an idiot. She went to her small cabin, and started on her report editing. Just then knock came, Suhani her assistant walked in “Imlie mam , Aryan sir is calling you”

“what does he need from me?” She asked annoyingly

“I dont know mam” she sounded nervous

“Why are you nervous?” She asked “Was he rude or mean to you in anyways?”

“No he is just intimidating. He was normal just like a boss would be”

“He is not our boss, well Mr Desai still our boss he is just an owner” Suhani nodded politely.

“Tell him madam is busy”

“Thik hai”

After few mintues, phone rang “Hello”

“Hey Imlie, i got you something” She frowned .

“Me ? Why? And hello just because you are owner doesn’t mean i am scared of you!”

She replied

“Just come to my cabin” he ordered

“No” and she hung up.

Aryan was suprised, he is a boss not technically according to deal but still an owner yet Imlie doesnt give a damn. She is fiery. Hmm he likes that, well Imlie i will come to you.

Imlie heard a knock, “Suhaani aajao” thinking it could only be her assistant.

“Here” a man voice said. She looked up and saw Aryan with a bag.

“I got you one kilo tamarind” she gasped! How dare he!??? Is he trying to make fun of her. She got up and grabbed his collar, “Bohut hogaya mazak. Kabhi ridh ke haddi pe garam hotada khaya hai? Well dont give me that chance” She warned him. He laughed, taking her hand and kissing it. “Please do it” he whispered in her ear.

Her mouth was hanging open, “Are you crazy!!!! You kissed my hands!! You are openly hitting on me.”

“Try the tamarind , I had picked myself “she picked the bag and swing it to hit his head but he ducked.

“I can fire you right now!” He was livid now, he is a damn Alpha!!

“Do it am not scared!” She said folding her hands.

He calmed himself down, when he gets to angry he tend to change into a wolf and clearly its not a good idea here.

“Look I genuinely loved tamarinds and since your name is Imlie you dont like it but give it a try”

“I can try” she said smiling

“See thats a good girl” he smiled back

“I can try to KICK YOU” she said wiping her smile off and giving him agreesive look.

“Bye Imlie. And yea try anything, i will win” he winked and left.

“I am going to resign right now!!” She cant stand this man. Then she realised she cannot resign. Mr Desai needs her. She was in dilemma and finally made decision to stay and bear that idiot. She looked at the tamarind bag and got an idea.

In the evening after office, she went straight home and changed the clothes and left again for serial killing research. It was late when she reached the area. She went to peoples door for more information but the only thing she could get out of them is that its man who kills just for fun but his targets are usually women. While she was going back in the car, somebody grabbed her but she back kick making the person and herself fall. The person locked her with the leg, she tried to look around for help but of course the roads were empty.

Suddenly she was released and saw Aryan grabbing the man and dragging him far away. She tried to run behind but her legs were hurt. After two minutes, Aryan came and started checking her “What are you doing?” Brushing his hand off.

“You ok?” He looked really worried

“Yes i am didnt you see i had got him”

“Well no need to worry now he is taken care of”

“What you mean?! And what if was the killer i was researching about!! Ughh” she stomped her feet making her leg hurt more.

“I need you to take some defense classes because you clearly dont know shit” he said clenching his jaw.

“You dont tell me what to do and by the way are you following me?? I will report to police. Stalker”

“My apartment is nearby “ is all he said. Aryan couldnt tell her that bond they share gave him warning. So he ran here fast as he could. He control his rage infront of her but that man who tried to harm her is now dead. He slowly killed him in his wolf form, the human authorities are in for a shock.

“So defense classes please take it. Kung fu my foot” he muttered the last part.

“I heard that” she said looking away caught in her lie.

“Bye” she opened the door and sped off.

She had enough today, she needs a drink and for that she called Ishaan.

“Yaar please ajaa, ye banda mujhe pagal kardega Ishu” she pleaded him to come.

“Ok see you” she said happy that she can vent to her best friend
