@bold: I found it heartless of him to say "hell with the party" immediately after she had just told him she never got to celebrate her parent's anniversary before. I also thought she apologized to him to protect Manjari. she wanted to make it clear that this was all her idea, because she heard him taunt Manjari before the cake cutting scene. he won't start seeing her differently until he sees her strength. As of now, he is seeing her as some weak girl who reminds him of Manjari. The day he starts to see her strength is the day his perspective on her will change. She can call him papa and maybe its secretly throwing him off like it did during the tilak scene. I still remember the look on his face during the jail scene when she came to save Abhi. he was not expecting that from her. My heart really went out to Manjari, Abhi, and Akshu today.
Manjari finally getting the party she always wanted but in the end ruined by Harshvardhan's behavior. The fear in her eyes during the cake cutting scene and his taunts was heartbreaking and scary too. My only thought is would he actually hit her later when they are in their bedroom alone? (Have the creatives made up their mind to show Harshvardhan as a physical abuser as well or not?) Or would his plan be to essentially destroy Akshu's chances of getting work elsewhere by purposefully warning any surrounding hospitals her lack of work ethic? He's drinking again so not sure what is going to happen.
Akshu was obviously rattled by everything that happened and as much as Goenkas understand her intentions were pure I'm glad Akshu admitted her fault in all of this because she let her over zealous one big happy family dream take over ignoring all the warning signs that she's seen, Manjari's own hesitations, and Abhi's direct words that his family is not like her's. But she needed to see this to understand the depths of how broken this family is. I hope next time she sees something she has a better way of handling it. Though my feeling is next time something comes up she will ask but ask the wrong person like Mahima who will lie and when things blow up Mahima will pretend she was never asked and it's all Akshu's fault. Afterall why would an elder in the household lie about something? I felt so bad when she was trying to apologize to Harshvardhan and he simply told her he didn't care. But I also wonder if he just simply thrown off again by Akshu's use of Papa and her apology. He knows what to expect from his son, his wife, and the rest of the family. But it seems Akshu always has a way that throws him off. So his go to line may be from now on "I don't care."
Abhi's anger was justified. He was so traumatized as a kid and having to relive the memories again as an adult was probably so painful for him. I feel that Abhi keeping quiet was the only way he could ensure he would not say something so horrible to Akshu and make matters worse. He probably also knew if he saw her crying he would melt a bit and at this time period he needed to let her know he was anger at her. What happened wasn't right and it all could have been avoided if the party had never been thrown. But I also hope he acknowledges that he needs to be up front with the why's too even if it is painful to explain. Akshu doesn't know what she doesn't know.
I agree that the whole shirt scene was just laughable 😆 But the representation of the buttons dialogue was very nice. I don't understand why the creatives couldn't come up with something better? Why this shirt tearing scene? 🤔 No need to tear the shirt.

It looks like Akshu probably hasn't eaten all day and the stress of all that she has been through in the Birla household and the silent treatment fight has gotten to her. Abhi will catch her. I expect Kairav probably giving some words to Abhi and Akshu will probably shut him down saying its a matter between her and her husband.
