Bcoz in comparison to VK and RS he has been a better consistent performer in recent times.
But still he was not in the team in last few series.

In my opinion it's better to make Karthik as VC and he should be the first choice for the wk, not Ishaan or Pant.

They are rested because they asked for rest otherwise they would have been included in the squad. No matter how much out of form they are, they will be included in team till they declare retirement

A captain's tactics are unique, it is something that is gained from experience, knowledge and observation power. Batting and bowling ki coaching ho sakti hai captaincy ki nahin😛
