Tell me something are values instilled in our blood. If that is the cause why parent, grandparents and other other relatives try to teach good values to children. According to YRKKH at least good values are in the blood which automatically makes an appearance once you reach the right age. It doesn't matter where you have been brought up, how has brought you up, the credit for your good values will go to you biological parents only.

Even during Naira's time I used to get super irritated when the compared her with Akshara. The girl lived 10 years alone and most of her growing up as a person was done during that time. She grew up as someone who understood the hard life or orphaned children and that is what made her appreciative about small things. It wasn't having Akshara and Naitik's blood running through her veins but her own life that shaped her into the person she had been.

Now they are doing the same thing for Akshu. This time it is even more sensless than Naira's time. Cause at least Naira spend 11 to 12 years with her mother. Akshu for years she didn't even know that Sirat was not her biological mother. Sirat was the one who bought her up. The one who saw her crawl, the one who she called maa, the one who had never let her realize that they didn't have a blood bond between them.

What bought all this up? Well our dear Akshu's conversation with Kaira ki tasveer. Not only they are completely forgetting that Naira died when Akshu was around 6-7 months, so she wasn't involved in bringing her up that was essentially Kairat, Kairav and the other Goenkas. I absolutely have no problem with her talking to her dead mother's photo, but the scene looks too forced. It is like they need to keep reminding the audience that she is Kaira's biological daughter. Even earlier they had done this by bringing Kaira's wedding videos. If it was just they picture or just the video I would have thought it is unintentional, but the convo with the picture talking about Kaira's wedding, bringing up Naira's emotions during the day was them playing with Kaira fans emotions.

I think like Manish, the creatives and most of YRKKH audience thinks that the children (at least daughter) gets their values from their mother's DNA who get her values from her mother's DNA. So you don't need to teach children good values. If the biological mother and nani are sanskaari it will automatically appear.

Values? No that’s nurturing but traits? For sure you can inherit your bio parents traits. I think they are saying Akshu has similar traits to Naira….

The way I understand it is this:

Akshara grew up idolizing Naira and following her through the stories she learnt from Manish and Co. The connection between her and Naira will always be there through genetics and the yearning of any orphaned infant who wants to know and love their parent.

Somewhere along the line, probably due to Aarohi's interference for I strongly believe Sirat had no intention to do this, Akshara grew indebted to Sirat for her maternal love. She looks back at that promise and is ready to do anything to uphold it, even though that promise holds little significance as Akshara's behaviour towards Aarohi was always that of blind love/protector (since infancy).

Coming to your point, I think the makers are having a difficult line maintaining respect for both mothers. Initially, they tried to feature them equally (e.g., Akshara's speech to Manish, ek sherni toh dusri babbar sherni) but a large chunk of the fandom despised that attempt because they weren't fans of Sirat. So, what I see them doing now is bringing up Sirat if it's related to Aarohi, in effect showing that only Aarohi is Sirat's daughter (which I wholeheartedly disagree with and I can link multiple videos showing Sirat doting on Akshara and Kairav, probably favouring them most), and Naira if it's related to Akshara or Kairav (Abhira's wedding), based on biology.

I would also argue that the recent emphasis on Naira also comes from the Goenka's, especially Manish and Suhasini who preferred her to Sirat. Their logic isn't based on DNA, but preference. In addition to the kids, only Swarna will bring up Sirat fondly. The rest see Sirat as a surrogate that brought Aarohi into the world or a Naira place-holder.

If I had it my way, it would go back to the earlier characterization where she remembered both equally - Naira's diary and Sirat's picture.

Perfectly said!! It's the makers incapability to hold a story and take it forward with integrity...it's pathetic how in catering to current audience's preference they are spoiling Akshu's and Kairav's characters bcz in childhood all three were shown to have a good sibling bond even if Aarohi was competitive. And all of the kids with their parents were well adjusted, Akshu and Aarohi not even aware that Sirat was not one of their biological mother.. It was that well-knit. But now all that has been scrapped and I at least feel the story has lost much due to it.

The good bond still exists but it's mostly one sided. Aarohi too has that good bond with her siblings when she is in a good mood (which rarely happens organically because she is either jealous or worried about getting exposed). You seem to forget all the three kids grew up without parents for a large chunk of their life. These things change people's characters. They can't stay the same after losing both parents. Parents are our biggest critics for a reason, they see through kid's heart and can tell good and bad intentions apart. They also keep our weakness in check and teach us how to be more balanced.

Kairav had to double up as a brother and a father (mostly to Aarohi). It wasn't fair on him but that's why he is no longer the fun loving kid he used to be when Kaira were alive. But he was always a responsible brother who had a soul connection with Akshu which was seen in post Kaira Sirat track. This has remained unchanged. His bond with Aarohi was never explored in detail, so we can't really comment if it changed drastically.

Akshara always had the maternal instinct for Aarohi which became amplified because of trauma and abuse. But despite that she didn't lose the core trait which is positivity and a heart filled with love. Nobody elder however taught her to control her sacrificing urges and think for herself too. on the contrary, their praise kept on providing reinforcement to her sacrificial behavior.

Of all the three, Aarohi really took a turn to the worse. She was always competitive and rude but post her parents death she allowed herself to be filled with so much negativity and bitterness that she literally became a walking talking panauti. She was always a selfish brat who you wanna smack but can't cuz kid. You just hope they outgrow the phase, which they usually do with proper guidance from parents (at least that's what Sirat had hoped). This girl has so much venom in her that she can't even be fully happy for her siblings.

If you look at it closely Aarohi by her very nature was always kinda misfit in the sibling troika. It was never well-knit according to the 5 pre-leap episodes we saw. Post parents death these unchecked behaviors of the 3 kids brought Kaishu closer while magnifying the distance between her and Kaishu.

Thats interesting.. its the genes alone or its the conditioning and impressions that they gather ? I guess everybody is born with an inherent nature which may be suppressed but it doesn't change entirely .

Case in point..akshu .. goenkas are selfish brats , they r no good (enuf of them in s2 and now they act like they have taken some holy dips in ganga) , they failed to respect their daughters and dils ..always preferred the "boys" over girls , business over ethics. .everything about them was show off . Why isn't akshu a bit like them ? Infact all the siblings , except arohi are too sanskari to be goenkas. 😆Akshu has been brought up by the goenkas and theirs must be the largest influence on her ? Itne kahan se sanskar aa gaye ? Naira was never like this nor akshara Nani. It's just that the lead heroine of yrkkh has to be in a certain way. Baby akshu was like this, she worshipped sirat.

Same with abhimanyu. He is more like manjari than harsh. Yes he speaks his mind but I am talking about the Inherent nature which is gentle and caring, which shows with his patients and family.

Arohi has been like this since childhood. Sirat wasn't a bad mother to all the kids and the goenkas didn't treat her bad. Still she turned up this way.

In yrkkh there r no gray characters. It was the hahk of itv but .This time they have jumbled up everything coz kaira died prematurely ..there is no parental influence which was the basis of many tracks in prev seasons. The writing is real bad. Focused only on fights and drama, and not the characters and their back stories.
