Naw. They would never end this show at this juncture where it is number 1 in terms or TRP. They shouldn’t actually. Who closes a flourishing shop?

Err every single western show stops when the story is told regardless of ratings? Many of them have stopped when their ratings were all time high. Also many indian OTT shows?

It's high time ITV starts doing this and indian audience demand this too

1) It allows a complete coherent story to be told and ends on a high which audience will remember for long

2) Any show which drags will obviously have a nonsensical script and the quality of the story, directon, acting and writing will go down. Once original story has been told, the quality will drag.

3) Actors are worked to death with no break as stories and shows keep dragging. That shouldn't be how actors are treated

4) Most of all, it allows actors to completely explore their versatility and range. Imagine how talented Rupa Ganguly is and her range of acting. But she is stuck in one role for decades. Even the best actress will get jaded and lose their range

Now comapare with an actor like Bob Odenkirk (better call Saul), a talented character actor, who is getting lead role in action movies like "Nobody" at the age of 59, and having the time of his life

If someone is a genuine fan of any actor, they should wish they get a chance to do many different kind of roles in their life rather than be typecasted and remembered for only one role in their prime

RG, GK, all are so talented, in their prime people should be able to see them in many different kinds of roles and not worked to death on one role

Which is why i admire Hina khan to have the guts to walk out of YRKKH to pursue other roles, despite the series popularity and it being her iconic role

More actors should do that which will forced ITV to stop dragging shows endlessly

Television business does not run that way. Number 1 show going off air because there was a happy ever after moment?naw. Not good for business for everyone involved. Cast, crew, channel, PH

But i just showed you how western television does run that way and is way more popular and richer and successful than ITV

And I completely disagree with the last sentence, in fact numbers and stats show its always good for cast, crew to end on a high. They are way more in demand in other things and get way more money in new contracts. An existing show contract doesnt get renewed that often, but an actor or crew coming off a successful show is worth their price in gold. The only people who benefit if something drags is channels who are already super rich

In india it doesnt work as actors don't have the guts to stand up for themselves and let themselves be used as slaves. In western industry actors dictate what they want and walk away if something drags

There is a reason western shows have actors work only for few months in a year unlike ITV stars who slog every week like slaves

There will be anupama's third fourth generation before it ends🤣

Btw, it could be a perfect ending. mukku is gone. I wanted her to give everything back to anuj and get inspired and hopeful again in life because of maan. Maan could have started their hotel project again.

Baa already agreed for marriage. A short speech of how she realised her mistake from her would have rounded it up well.

Kavya already turned off her negativity. Vanraj could have been shown as receiving job offer from some company, giving himself another chance at "bada aadmi dreams" and finally stop interfering in anupama's life after learning his lesson from mukku fiasco.

Toshu has also turned into sensible guy, already accepted baby, now they could show him applying for jobs in companies on his own merit.

Sabhi fit hota hai....a perfect ending...only if...itv was sensible enough to end its shows at right time.🤣

Absolutely correct. Agree with all your points.

Waise bhi agar high trp show se itna moh hai they can always come back for season 2 after a short break. Its High time itv should change its ways and adopt this multiple seasons concept.

Abhi bhi bahut se shows ke season 2 aaye hain but unke pehle season hi ghaseet ghaseet ke saalo chale. Aisa nahi hona chahiye. Jaisa ott par hota hai 10-12 episodes bahut hua to 25-30 episodes mein ek season khatam karo and bring it again for second season.

Anupama mein jab usko vanraj ke dhoke ka pata chala that could have been end of first season then next season mein anupama dance academy kholti. Phir third mein anuj aata and maan would have happened. Phir fourth mein anupama managing through challenges of second marriage and growing as individual personality wise...and so on.
