Her "apne" rant traumatized Aru, I'm surprised it just vanished out of thin air

right u say abt the Q they need to ask for themself n move ahead n make this rshp meaningful n all but abt N if she hv asked this Q then i will support her but she didnt. she ws making allegation on imlie character n intention abt money n men so i cant forgive her for it rn .. lets see hw they change her again if they want. but one thing i will tell. i was seeing old epi since last few days (before N turn around) n i always found she ws shallow not tht deep feeling... they never show her v much in detail like arpita. she have very less conversation with aryan but arpita hav more so v feel arpita bond with aryan more than N bond with her kids n v only see her as "how cute his mom is" but she show her insensitive nature few time. obv that time in the story she ws sweet only but still few places i hd Q in mind abt her. ..

1. when she ask imlie to marry aryan first time when imlie ws v upset n anyone can see tht but N didnt see imlie ws not ok even before she ask that Q cos Aparna fill in her mind in temple u ask that khatti meethi girl for ur son. without thinking she just ran to ask Q to imlie. n this continue even in adini marriage she ws dancing n looking at imlie for aryan cos she saw only aryan ws happy. what imlie feeling ws not much her problem

2. when they return from PD, she didnt ask imlie how she was (even arpta didn) but arpita went to imlie before N. so there i dnt see any diff between T n N even when i saw first time i remmbr i ws surprise tht N n arpita didnt hug imlie

3. after Malini PF Narmada believe imli will not come bck to their house n that she ws still T house bahu. dont remmbr exact dialog.4. Even after fake marriage n when they were in same room for night she come in the morning n say i will not accept shaadi if kundali dont match. not one time she think wht she is saying she said i dont believe in yr court marriage cos marriage cn only happn with rasam but tht time also she didnt thik that if imlie aryan really married then wht imlie will go through for breaking marriage for kundali like issue. it ws not made major issue cos imlie ws only saying yes for other reason but that narmada dont know.

4. during full weddin track (maker did ffwd i know) she ws sweet but tht is cos she ws happy her son ws getting girl he wanted. she dint paid attention to imlie sadness n action that time.

5. when imlie leave 7th phera nwent n BM told let BD marry aryan she ws surprise cos suddenly such thing happen but BM ws reay to take BD to mandap n N ws quiet. so if imlie dint come bck she ws goig to b ok with BD replacement. this is cos of more bad script only but still i feel N sweetness ws only till she saw aryan happy n imlie is of use to aryan.

see how she say thnx to jyoti same tone n same love tht she give imlie cos this time she think jyoti arrange blood n save aryan. n in second minute she ws like one vamp n slap imlie n say all tat hatred words for her. the change is so suddenly but i nvr found her strong woman. she did not open her mouth when Malini insult arpita many times when PD track ws going on. she allow BM to say anything to arpita even today. so i dont think N ask any good Q. if she was angry with imlie during reception for jhadu pocha or for running from mandap i will support N for her rreason but what she dong now, after seeing how imlie ws bringing donor only she still siting on her ego cos she suddenly dont like imlie then she is only become a vamp puppt.

but they showd narmada as someone who say sorry n correct mistake. this time she is making more mistake. i dont mind if she upset with imlie or have doubt whether imlie is right persons for her son cos she will be right in thinking cos imie still dont have that love for aryan still but she is not angry for right reason rn

So, I finally got around to watching today's episode and here are a few things I noted.

1. Narmada doesn't want to hate Imlie or be mean to her. When Imlie was talking today, saying "Maa do what ever you want but don't ignore me, I know you care about me a lot" you could see Narmada's pain. Her eyes welled up a little, probably reminiscing their sweet moments together. Narmada averted Imlie's gaze because she couldn't contradict those claims. Unlike at the hospital, she wasn't overwhelmed with anger. The pain is still there but it simmered down, found a little clarity after the news coverage and while she still sees herself as right, she doesn't see Imlie as the devil. There was a thaw!
2. I loved Imlie's dialogue that all her relations with this home sprouted from Narmada's love for her because it's true. She wouldn't be married to Aryan or Arpita's sister without Narmada's chunar over her head, shielding her from homelessness.
3. "Imlie kuch bhi kar sakti hai par rishte nahi todd sakti hai" - Imlie was so close to melting her heart completely but that dialogue did a 180 on her hard work. Imlie, you've forgotten your old relations in a heartbeat - you speak no more of the Tripathis, the family which you would've happily destroyed the world for. When it was Sundar's wedding, you didn't even think to invite them and made no mention of them. It was like they never existed.
4. "Saas aur bahu ke beech mein maat bhol" - That's the problem, isn't it. A parent can look the other way when their child is wrong and Narmada did the same for Imlie earlier, even if it hurts them. Think about their reception and how much Imlie's servent act hurt Narmada but she never let Imlie feel guilty about it. But now, she sees Imlie as her bahu and yes, the stakes are higher for a Bahu. A bahu is a married woman and marriage is a mature commitment so maturity is expected from a bahu. The rash gunda type behaviour Imlie showed at the blood bank isn't mature and nor are some of her other actions.
   
5. I liked how Imlie understood and articulated Narmada's thoughts to Aryan. It showed that she wasn't sacrificing herself, had she accepted Narmada's condition, but choosing temporary appeasement. However, appeasement seldom works (cough cough, world war II)
   

PRECAP: idontknowwhattodowiththisfamily - I want to be objective and see the best in both Imlie and Narmada but they're both making it so difficult. I disagree with how Narmada's handling the situation, with every dialogue she's spitting out venom under BM and BD's influence (for TRPs). But I understand that a certain degree of harshness is necessary to evolve Imlie into a more conscious person. Meanwhile, Imlie looks so broken that I can't help but feel for her but her behaviour on the streets and blood bank make me want to scream at her.

CVs are not going to change anything about Imlie. Today's episode confirmed it when she was justifying the crap Narmada poured on her, in the name of mother's love. I know she is that mahanata ki mutti who forgives everyone. But, this time, it had affected her self-worth. Upar se Narmada's words to end her job, which indirectly meant putting an end to her dreams. She should be shown recollecting all those moments and struggling hard to get over the pain. That's how normal people react. Instead CVs are interested in proving her to be kshamadevi ki murthi who has now taken up her next assignment. 😡 After Arylie marriage, it was all about Imlie completing different assignments - Arvind murder exposure to give proper closure to Aryan, Surpita marriage, Nargis accident & finding her family, beech mein ek professional assignment diya, as lollipop, in the form of Rehan don exposure. Now again back to ghar ki assignment- manaofying Narmada. In sabke saath all the bina awaz ki mahanatas she does, as listed by Aryan today. And then you are expecting CVs to give her restrospecting scenes. You have to be satisfied with that lone Meethi related retrospection we got. Itne paise mein itna hi milega.

Now, I am more convinced that Aryan will be initiating the separation so that he can cut her off from the Rathores, so that she will pursue her dreams. But then again the boy will be bashed saying, if she was not interested in her career and instead was interested in being a home maker, who is he to force her through the pain of divorce and separation. Tab bhi khoyi nahi sochega ki it was Imlie who always used to share about her dreams of succeeding in career and fulfilling her mother's dream. If her priority is to be a homemaker as she craves like anything for a family, then she needs to be vocal about it to Aryan. That's what I did in my life. Even if I was an engineer, I wanted to be a complete homemaker, because I had missed my parents during my childhood and because I had a divine outlook on homemakers. My hubby was shocked to hear it and later because of his insistence & various other reasons I worked till I felt that I needed to spend more time with our son who were to leave us for his Uni studies in 4yrs. And I will never regret it, as it was a timely decision and was worth it in all ways. So, what I meant to say is, Imlie's career dreams now looks more like Aryan's dreams and in a hurry to please the TRP audience, the makers have spoiled a show which had great potential. Turning Narmada into a completely irredeemable character and yet using Imlie to whitewash her has really got to my nerves. I am now waiting to see what's the upcoming pregnancy twist and if it's going to be the same ghisa pita track followed in all saas bahu shows, with Aryan's character turning dumb to portray Imlie mahaan, I might be quitting the show. I would feel bad missing FK and Sumbul's acting; but I can't go through a repetitive phase of shows I have watched in the past, for whatever reason it may be. Instead I will watch the first 100episodes of Arylie till Imlie's tandav, plus their Arpi arranged date episode which will give me the satisfaction of a HEA of Arylie.😊

I agree with everything you said if this was someone we knew in real life.

But as a viewer, would I prefer to see her in a therapist’s office vs. rubbing up on Aryan? 🤔

It’s shallow, but I leave my brain at the door. I justify what I need to (as per my earlier post) so that I can continue watching without feeling like my intelligence is being insulted.

Seeing Aryan in 65-75% of the episode is enough to make me happy. I am here to stare and drool. 🤷🏻‍♀️

What will put me off (a la Anupamaa) is seeing repetitive abusive behaviour.

If we are doing this whole hubby-doesn’t-trust-Imlie story again, than it’s gonna be a hard watch.

Maybe there is lots going on that is problematic, but it’s hard for me to focus beyond Aryan’s face and 🍑 in those suits. Sue me. 🥴
