Oh you people are Giving so many ideas. And none of these ideas need a damn budget... Iys literally them doing normal things instead of imlie saving xyz
Bepanah was my jam. The whole friendship into love of two broken people was so beautifully done.
This show needs to take cues from Bepannaah on how a strong friendship precedes the equation between two broken to the ground people before love develops, and how this love develops and evolves. Remember the whole internal struggle Aditya and Zoya went through when they realised they had feelings for each other, how frightened they were, and how they both acted out before they finally accepted it? Thatās what Imlie makers are forgetting. People whoāve gone through what Aditya, Zoya, and Imlie have gone through, struggle to believe in the idea of love again, let alone believe themselves capable of it again. Sure, Aryan already had feelings for Imlie to begin with. But thatās not the case with Imlie. She always only considered him a friend and a well-wisher. So for the makers to show her readily falling for Aryan with barely any inner turmoil or confusion about the nature of her feelings, I think, comes off a little too āidealisticā and the reason why itās falling flat. They should have planned for a whole track on Imlieās inner turmoil. Her recognition of the subtle changes occurring in her feelings towards Aryan, her struggling to understand and come to terms with the nature of those feelings, her denial, her second guessing her ālove and marriage only happens once in lifeā idea, her disbelief that sheās even capable of falling in love again,
her fear, and then acting out for awhile before finally accepting that she thinks of him as more than a friend and acknowledging that sheās in love with him. Itās a whole process. It deserved adequate time being spent on it. I even had a song in mind for this track,
