Role of Pari & Dev in Neel & Kajal's relationship? Confused 😐

I'm just curious to know what is the role of Pari, Dev, and their music sessions in terms of the story & how it is an imperative factor for Neel & Kajal's relationship? I feel it has a strong potential if executed properly because it just seems like two separate stories running in parallel before they ultimately intertwine. Also, Dev's role is also something questionable so hopefully as more episodes roll out, his arc is explained more properly.

It seems that since Pallavi & Chavi are real siblings who have turned into blind eye due to Kajal being labeled as Surya & Pallavi's child, labeled as illegitimate --- I think then Bhumi is going to make Kajal's stay at the Khurana household a mayhem since it seems like Kajal & Pari would likely bond. Again, only my figment of the what's too be anticipated track in the upcoming tracks. 😕😆
