Regarding that KWK episode, DP took a selfie with KJo and Alia took one alone. KJo even told Deepika that she’ll lose if she posts a selfie with him but she didn’t care.

Overall I do agree that almost all of them buy followers.

If it wasn't clear from my post above (and all my previous posts), I have obsessed over Bollywood shenanigans for quite a while now, and I (think I) know what I saw. It is my belief that Deepika deliberately photographed herself with Karan in order to use this reason (excuse) as to why she got less likes - because (obviously) she is aware that her team have paid for followers (like many celebs do, worldwide) and therefore the engagement is quite significantly lower compared to others with less follows. ☺️

I would say mid-2010s, her instagram was on fire in terms of views and likes. I'm honestly so shocked that her posts are no longer in the top 10 of all time with the actresses.

I feel like ever since she got married, she just changed her approach in everything - films, interviews, social media, fashion/style. And its just all gone for a toss. Now she's taking the Netflix approach and throwing anything and everything at the wall and it shows😆

She has the personality of a dry wall. The only idiot that likes her posts is her husband

Major celebrities tend to have a lot of followers simply because they are followers. Algorithms keep recommending them to people to follow. But people don't necessarily engage, especially when the content is boring. Though I am sure Deepika, Alia and Katrina's teams all buy followers to keep up with each other's counts.

Katy Perry has millions of followers and her albums hardly sell these days . DP is a still a recognised name but the peak hype might not be there anymore ( it happens) or her posts fail to engage her followers.

Compare this to Taehyung who has like 41.4 million followers and he gets 13-14 million likes regularly on his insta posts .
