Today was a wholesome episode

I loved the social message about equality in marriage, be it touching feet or not touching (why only wife bows to husband, touch their feet), or be it cooking, maan ya sanmaan (value, worth or be it respect/esteem/regard) both should also be equal in a marriage.

Social message of respecting women who nurture us, especially who are always in kitchen, give them a break - maybe they don't feel like cooking or don't want to cook - regardless - just like everyone they need a break too -

I think Gaurav Khanna has about 839K followers on intsa after this weekend he'll gain another 5-10K overnight hahahaha

After the fandom backlash, they revamped his character - and gave him full on-screen space today - it was all him!

Looks like great episode with great social message

I wish its not just lip service as usual, with then in subsequent episodes Anu being shown to do all kitchen work and serving Shahs every day and no one else doing anything and Anuj not saying anything or helping her

They have done this in the past with some great speeches and bhashans about women and society but then show the characters doing opposite of what they said

Also Anuj needs to understand all his talks of equality and respect counts for nothing when he remains a mute spectator when others deny Anupama the same equality and respect in her daily life. Like it or not, he will never live alone with Anu so he has to ensure others also give her respect and dignity and both of them speak up when they don't

I agree man. This has been their problem right from the beginning. They preach a lot of stuff but practice none. Infact the messages go back to the usual. I just want them for once to follow their own dialogues.

And I agree man. High time she sets her boundaries and lets go of the insane obsession. I have said it before and will repeat. It isn’t an easy task and won’t be either. But she needs to take baby steps atleast. Also the makers. MOVE THE STORY man. It has been stuck in a loop since forever!!! Show at least this one progress. I am watching an ITV almost after 10 years, so I dont know how much influence an actor can have on the script. But in other country's series especially Korean/Chinese/Japanese if the production house is casting an experienced/good/popular actor then their suggestions are taken in consideration. For example in my favorite series the male lead had to cry for a scene but going by his character it did not fit or suit that. Instead he suggested why not do something else and the writer and director agreed with his analysis.

So, I dont know if this happens in ITV.
