Aarohi comes and says Harsh called her. Abhi goes with her to explain the case. Abhi is extremely professional and is able to separate his personal issues with her, and that is what makes him such a great doctor. Harsh sees them and says they can make a great team. He’s all about the success of the hospital and PR. There’s nothing more he’s trying to do.

Kairav is worried about Akshu being alone and Manish calms him down. He says that Abhi must also be sad. Kairav then cannot sleep all night and is making kachoris in Akshu’s memory. The entire Goenka family misses her so much and didn’t realize they would all feel this way. This was a really emotional scene. Kairav is getting more and more protective of Akshu. I wonder if there is going to be tension here between him and the Birlas.
The dream sequence was Abhi’s! It was a direct parallel to Agar Tum Saath Ho. Last time, Akshu was longing for Abhi. She was in his room without any rights, dreaming that they could share their pain with each other. She was clinging onto his shirt with pain. And, today, Abhi imagines her in their room with full rights as his wife, yearning for his love on their first night together. It is such a bittersweet full circle moment.
Abhi is so exhausted but he comes home with a single rose. He sees that Akshu has decorated the room with flowers, a frame with their shaadi photo — he left the frame, and she completed it! There is also an Abhira sign. The Birlas didn’t decorate the room, but Akshu still wanted to make him feel special. He has the biggest smile on his face.
He sees her asleep wearing his headphones, his white shirt - this time for the sheer comfort it provides her, and the bracelet that he gave her. It is the small moments like this that show the depths of her love for him. Her love is subtle, but it is all consuming. She misses him so much. And, the headphones are so significant in this scene. Music has always been Akshu’s peace throughout her life, but now, Abhi is her music. He is her peace, just like she is his. And without him, she needs these headphones to block out the pain, fear, and discomfort she is experiencing without him.
Abhi looks like he is about to cry. The sad jaaniye plays and he apologizes. Of course none of this is Abhi’s fault. His duty called him, and he had to go. And, he felt so deeply guilty for it too. But, the second he sees her on the couch like that, his heart entire breaks and melts all at once. Because, in that moment, he sees the depth of his love for him. No words, nothing more is needed. He blames himself, which is so sad, because the reality is that he is the very source of happiness and light in her entire life.
He sees her wearing the bracelet and is so happy. He takes off the shirt and the headphones and carries her to the bed. It is so cute, because he puts her on his side of the bed! He apologizes again and hears her asking him when he is coming back in her sleep. He falls asleep sitting next to her. This scene was so so sad and beautiful at the same time.
Akshu wakes up confused as to where she is. She sees him asleep sitting next to her and asks herself how she got so lucky. He sleep talks and says the same. He comes up to the bed and sleeps in her lap. They have the cutest conversation. She tells him not to apologize and he promises he will make it up. She tells him to go back to sleep, and he pulls her — this was a parallel of the original jaaniye dream sequence! She runs her palm down his face and makes him sleep. Another dream parallel coming true!! I love domestic Abhira!
Akshu comes down and asks Manjari what she should make for her first day. Manjari says that everyone eats fruits and cereal here. Again, this isn’t the Goenkas, and Akshu will need to adjust accordingly. It is a culture shock, but she will figure it out. She decides to make kheer and kachoris, and asks Manjari what she wants.
Manjari literally starts crying and is shocked. No one has asked her this in so long. She is so happy. She tells her that she likes sabuth dana ki kheer, so that is what Akshu makes. Akshu SEES Manjari like no one else in the Birla house has in years. Their bond is so pure.
Harsh and Mahima are taunting Akshu for not being a doctor once again. Right then Manjari and Akshu come. Akshu says she made sabuth dana kheer and Harsh says ew. Akshu says that she made it because it is Manjari’s favorite, and Harsh starts complaining that his preferences don’t matter. He blames Manjari for not telling Akshu, and both of them feel so bad. He treats both of them like trash. He has absolutely no respect nor manners. He is going to leave no opportunity to bash Akshu and Manjari, because not only is he so patriarchal and on a superiority complex, but he also is so deeply insecure of them and the way Abhi loves them.
There are more taunts thrown at the table about Neil still being asleep and doing nothing, Shefali being on a call, etc. All of the dynamics of the house are being made clear to Akshu. And all of these people will get their own tracks in parallel to Abhira.
Mahima taunts saying that the shaadi is over so everyone should begin their normal routine. Akshu asks if everyone can try at least a little bit of kheer. Anand is the most rational and agrees. He gives her ashirwaad too. Harsh doesn’t even touch her head. Mahima says there is no need to touch feet and that good morning will do. Again, Anand tries to calm the situation by saying that respect comes from within. Akshu tries to say that is what Mimi taught her, but Harsh says we are the Birlas and she needs to leave everything from the Goenkas behind. Akshu looks so pained, but Manjari nods and reassures her. Manjari will be Akshu’s biggest support in this house, especially in Abhi’s absence. She knows what Harsh is capable of, but she won’t let the same happen to Akshu. Harsh is so so vile, and my heart breaks for Akshu.
Precap has Manjari saying that they should all do rasams for Abhira today and Harsh is giving taunts. Abhi comes and breaks a plate and then the same precap.

Seriously this woman has been through so much. We've seen the taunts and disrespect she's received in that household but we are definitely going to be given an even more in depth view of her situation. The scene of when Manjari gets so shocked that Akshu even asked her what her favorite kheer was, was so heartbreaking. Her immediate speechlessness and almost inability to answer said a lot. It's been forever and a day since anyone has asked her what she wanted. The entire household takes her for granted. I'm sure Neil and Abhi have asked before or tried to do something for her but she probably always deflects and says something whatever you want is what I want...typical Mom thing to say. And the boys don't exactly know how to cook. And I'm pretty sure things get overruled anyways by Harshvardhan. Mahima, or even Anand.
I know some have complained in the past regarding Manjari seemingly air headedness but with a husband like Harshvardhan and a family that does not support her you wonder how this woman can even function. She cannot tell whether if her decisions are right or wrong. Even if she makes a good decision someone ends up being upset with her. If she manages to please Harshvardhan, her sister probably has some taunting comeback because she has her own insecurities and triggers. Most of the time she is against Harshvardhan but even when she is on the same team as her bother-in-law her tongue is no less sharp.
Anand though the more agreeable one does nothing to really defend but just distracts people so a fight won't break out. He may say one nice thing but then moves onto something else to get people from thinking about things too long.
Harsh:
He's just 🤬 😡 This man has the audacity to ask what about him? Your wife has been doing nothing been serving you hand and foot and doing everything per your liking and one day when her daughter-in-law makes a sweet dish specifically because its her favorite you decide to act childishly and complain that you didn't get something? 365 days a year everything goes according to your whims. I swear 😡
Akshu:
Poor girl is witnessing the Birla House of Horrors morning routine. She knew that house was different but she probably had no idea how different. I'm sure she is silently jotting down things in her mind regarding how this family is and also feeling very sad that this is the environment that Abhi and Neil were raised in and that Manjari has to deal with every day.
Abhira:
So the dream was Abhi's 😆 Of course only Abhi would have those types of dreams. His romancing skills are so good. Though I was actually hoping Akshu was dreaming it cause her dreams need an upgrade from cheese 😆
Abhi looked so heartbroken when he came into the room knowing she decorated everything and tried to wait up for him but ended up falling asleep. The next morning was super cute and love these parallels ❤️ they are showing.
Off topic but when are they going to show the new song video? We kept thinking it would play during the wedding track but it hasn't yet. It has to be someone's dream 😆 Maybe Abhi has another long night shift again and its Akshu you dreams it?
