Meanwhile, in a secret location far, far away, several machines were triggered into action the moment the word “fandom” was broadcast by 3TS.

Alarms bleeped a “thu thu thu” in phones across various time zones. Dinners were abandoned, sleeps rudely interrupted and breakfasts and lunches pushed away unceremoniously as phones were grabbed and members of this secretive group headed to their safe rooms.

Punching the numbers, 111281, brought to life the banks of screens set up in there which allowed them to see each other, and most importantly, see 3TS and listen in to every word that he said. Regardless of where he was.

Setting up this elaborate network had not been easy. But, this highly motivated and determined group had the zeal needed to persevere. Knowledge of the rudiments of hacking by one of the members had proven to be tremendously useful.

The group looked on silently as one by one the who’s who of India’s second most torturous show filed in. With MP taking centre stage. Again. As usual.

Horror showed on all of their faces as the meeting panned out. The concerted and deliberate sabotaging of everything to do with their beloved, their raison d être, was not a new phenomenon for them. But each time they saw it play out live in this manner, it made their blood boil some more.

There was hushed silence as the meeting ended. Broken only by the sound of retching when MP and 3TS embraced warmly at the end.

The moment the live telecast went blank, all hell broke loose with outrageous shouts and comments tumbling around.

“Uff, uff, uff”, their leader’s voice cut in, silencing them instantly.

“Is everyone clear about their parts in our 69 point plan to annihilate MP on SM?”

“Right, let’s do it! Let’s puff up our chests and flex our biceps and show them who is the one who rules the show… and the fandom’s hearts!”
