Original release date was clashing with Thor. Now they are clashing with Ajay/Sid/Rakul starrer Thank God.

Mohit had a fight with Sid after EV. That's why the deliberate clash to prove who is superior.

Their fallout well was after EV. They were friends for a while and Sid was even gonna be part of Aashiqui 3. I think the fall out happened some time around casting of Malang and EV2.

As for this clash, EV was a huge success with chartbuster songs. So it’s sequel is expected to do good but audiences are in a different taste zone now as opposed to 2014; the bar is set pretty high for the songs too, I don’t know if it can match Galliyan and Banjaara. TG is a slice of life dramedy with Ajay Devgan who is a big star and Sid is in his post Shershah phase now, and it’s directed by Indra Kumar who’s Total Dhamaal was a surprise hit. At this point I think TG has the a very generous edge.

Speaking of Mohit Suri drama, Adi was first signed for EV2 but then suddenly dropped out at the last minute? Any idea what happened there?

Wasn't ARK doing it? I was looking forward to see him. Why is this man so laid back in his career? Anyway then he can do whatever he wants.

AK is definitely a better actor than SM. So let's see. Female leads are just very bad though.

Adi wanted to be part of Om. It's like a Baaghi of 🐅. If it works, he is going to benefit much more. He might be taken seriously as a star. The likes of Malang and EV2 don't do anything for anyone's careers. His next Gumrah is also an action packed movie.

Arjun is anyways free for doing any movie, so he was signed for EV2.
