Further adding onto my post above.

Shivi scene with sindoor and helping Raavi with pleats made sense. I for a change agree with the editing department to cut bangles and earrings scene because it is not needed at this point. The significance of sindoor scene and pleats has and will have impact on how Shiva changes for Raavi through his future actions towards his family for Raavi, his wife, his Gauri

But wo poore 5 minute ka gadha romance ghusaane ka kya sense hai? (I didn't watch but it was for full five minutes right?) What did it achieve except cringe... Whatever I've seen gadha romance they make it cringe always, like everyone change channel it's that uncomfortable to watch.. So what would it achieve?

This is the same Raavi who said to Suman she is dheet and won’t leave Pandya House until she makes Shiva her own.

That’s why I think Raavi kept quiet for Shiva’s respect , her husband’s respect, who she loves the most respect.

This scene was build up to Shiva finally will be shown standing up for Raavi because he has seen Raavi stand up for him in his bad times.

Shiva won’t be shown insulting his mother as he has respect for his mum (all children do) but will correct her this time.

I think she didn't reply because she knows that wouldn't have made any difference and only spoil everyone's mood, also that made her question herself, she actually thought that she might be the reason that's why she didn't reply

I think she didn't say anything bcz she really thought it was true? The way she asked Shiva about it all scared like he too might think that.. I don't think Raavi would sat anything on that matter, rather she'll be more insecure about it

Then I am confused, why would Raavi be insecure?

The only thing and person mattered to her was Shiva, not accepting her or liking her. She knew Pandya parivaar very well and Suman too so why this insecurity?

I feel Raavi is just scared ki Suman and Dhara se pange nahi lena, nahi toh Shiva chod dega.

In simple words she has abondonment fear and knowingly and unknowingly people use it against her.

She knows ki the day she go against either of them Shiva will go back to his rude ways and this is so bad and sad.

That was my very first question first thing morning. I don’t even want to comment on insignificance of this scene, unless their romance was to bring puchku track her way with Dhara being upset over Rishita and fainting in Jaanu’s house and there, pregnant (this won’t happen just my khayali puloa)

I skipped almost everything including Shivi scene. But then I went back and watched them and this is what I could make out from this scene.

Maybe you’re right but why would they include Shiva on this scene. Numerous times Suman has been and said mean things to Raavi in Shiva’s absence so what difference this scene make?

I still think this is a build up scene for Shiva to eventually standing up for his wife. He said so during Rishita Shiva sunao track, he couldn’t bear to see Raavi getting hurt with Rishita’s words. So here is the same thing, his actions (though not in words yet) showed he is affected by what’s being said to Raavi.

Palak..I think this happens mainly becz she has grown up insecure..mami was never reliable even though she liked ravi, she would take no second to taunt her that she is an orphan..she lost her parents right after birth.. people like mami would definitely live among a community who believes in panauthi and stuff..see suman..its obvious ravi might not be hearing this for the first time..

And she has been conditioned by this behaviour since birth.. hence less reaction..she wouldn't even feel bad when it's her family whom she loves and values more than anything in life..but this time, she is begining to see through their eyes too...her love for this family and especially shiva can make her question it too..That's horrible..if she believes like suman then the damage is huge..

Her abandonment issues are touched very subtly before too.. When she said to Shiva that dheere dheere saare rishte toot rahe hai, me akeli reh jaungi.. She's an orphan who never knew about her parents, then she lost connect with her mother figure & sister & with constant gaslighting of Suman about her being a panauti.. Insecurity can be very obvious

You are absolutely right and this is where Shiva will eventually come in. Obviously Raavi was affected and perhaps questioned herself at this point about her existence therefore Shiva even though he was hurt and affected by his mothers words towards his wife, he didn’t show that to Raavi. Instead, he gave her assurance that though his mum has bitter tongue but her heart is pure.

I am expecting more harsh words from Suman but in the hope that Shiva speaks up for Raavi (just like Gombi speak up for Dhara) and this will be a slow but start of growth from Shiva’s end.

I dnt want him to just speak up for ravi now..things have gone too far for ravi..she is never respected in this house..he should call it and tell suman they will.leave if that's what she thinks so..she can keep her patrani for doing her work and managing the whole housework..and dev will be enough to keep them all happy..shiva and ravi will better leave than makes this worse by staying there..
