A new concept invented by the makers of ANUPAMA

Just saw today's (11 May) episode. Sheer FRUSTRATION, ANGER, rising BP .... that's the new definition of ENTERTAINMENT the makers of Anupama are giving us.

SADNESS also, because of all the hard work put in by the MaAn actors especially - all FOR NOTHING.

The script is bad, the cinematography worse, and the storyline has gone completely DEAD.

Gaurav and Rupali said they read everything (though, how that is physically possible...??). So, this post (and all related posts) is NOT AGAINST them or their work but against the makers of this show WHO ARE NOW SHOWING TOTAL DISREGARD FOR VIEWERS AND ACTORS ALIKE.

My BP is up (I know, so many Forum friends have warned against watching) but I'm stuck - simply because of what MaAn originally and basically stood and stand for.

A devilish Catch 22 😭😭😭

When I watch an episode and leave feeling frustrated and angry and upset is how I know that this can’t be what we watch for entertainment.. how is this supposed to uplift or excite the viewers. Man, today’s words of Vanraj and Baa once again pretending that every single thing that goes wrong in the world is Anupama’s fault just stung and left me feeling so upset. Yes for Anupama but also at the sheer nonsense and ridiculous/illogical storyline. Instead of standing around playing the blame game and using Baapuji as an excuse to once again ruin Anupama’s happiness they should be focused on getting Baapuji treated right away. They are blaming Anupama for not noticing Baapuji because of being focused on her wedding..

well then where were THEY? His own wife and son didn’t know what was up and they have the nerve to question Anupama.

Frustrated. Am in the same boat as you. 😆

Make peace with us not being target audience. The audience is people over 70s who grew in an age where divorce was a taboo and womens independence was mostly joke in India.

Very few actors can pull a bad storyline with conviction. The actors obviously would not say bad about the show, its their show 😅 Even SRK cannot pull bad film scripts and execution.

Exactly.

People watch television for entertainment and relaxation. If something is frustrating, increasing our BP, feeling completely unrelatable and absurd, its best not to watch it.

I have made peace with the fact that this show is going to be good only in patches. So we watch those good parts and give the rest a skip. Especially in this era of OTT when so many good options are available for every choice.
Giving it a miss this week. Can’t tolerate the blatant sexism and Anupama-blaming. Can’t tolerate a single word that comes out of V or Baa’s mouths.

You are right. The only tragedy is that GK and RG are just too good and appeal to everyone.

Also the only reason there is so much craze for MaAn everywhere is because of the large number of young people watching the show, who find Baa and Vanraj’s continuous sexism and victim blaming as well as Anupama’s moronic stockholm syndrome completely outrageous.

Yet it is shown again and again. Which means the makers take us for granted, and the writers are profusely incompetent and inconsistent.

The only solution to this is to not watch the show when it gets bad and only watch the good parts.
Of course the ideal solution would be to stop watching completely, which I suppose is quite likely in the near future.

Not only you many people bp going up down watching this serial

Better to avoid if it affects health

The previous serial i watched was 10 years back jodha akbar

When it got irritating i would stop watching few weeks or a month or track than join back when it became better story

Thats my advce to all stop when it gets too much to effecte health or mind

join back after few weeks or month

When we can walk off theatres after paying 1000 2000 if movie not good you can do same for serial or netflix shows etc stop watching till its better

So glad I stopped watching months back after Mukku entry

The show fell apart when they began destroying Anuj charact early on by allowing him to be raked over by Anu's family constantly

Then they made him adopted

Then he wanted to give his biz to Mukku, another character the CV ruined

ITV writers are talent less hacks...they got no idea or concept of what audience wants
