I agree, that’s why I can understand her awkwardness to an extent. In S1, Ram was being extra awkward after that night, but Priya of S1 persisted until he came out of it.

It feels worse (&pretentious) when Indian shows do it, because we know for a fact that normal Indians don’t talk like that. I always feel Indian OTT shows this way to make themselves look ‘modern’.
