I guess this is where we have to agree to disagree.

In my opinion you are responsible for your own feelings and actions. Aarohi building up hope might be natural but the way she got the rishta was not. She can be sad but gets no pity party from me because of her lies.

She is shown to be a practical person right. So she is someone who can't read obvious signs nor can understand clearly stated out words, because she only has her goal in her mind. She was willingly entering with game of chance that her marriage will work out fine like several others. But she lost this game.

If she is so emotionless that she can chase after her sister's lover who had brutally rejected her once before in Tilak 1.0 with no guilt and so practical that she can agree to marry the guy who is telling her point blank that he will never ever love her but only her sister. Then she should also extend the same thinking when she gets jilted. Abhimanyu apologized (just like she does after grave mistakes and expects people to move on) so she should also not be sad, since she is so practical and emotionless. It's her own fault if she built up Hawai mahal for her own marriage but has zero qualms about crushing other's emotions and dreams. She gets zero sympathy from me.

It's true but I am surprised why isn't this thought explored in the other direction as well. AB's parents might think she is a good match so that gave her hopes but her own family was severely not impressed nor interested in the rishta after Tilak 1.0 fiasco. She very conveniently can be selfish there and almost force her family to agree to what everyone could sense (especially Mimi, KV and BP) would turn out to be a disaster. Her family didn't like Abhimanyu but that didn't matter to her. She would be respected but she never considered if the same favor would be extended to Abhimanyu as well from her family.

In this so called marriage between families one family was manipulated and the other was forced into it by one person. So it was never a "marriage if families"

A bride getting jilted on her wedding day is extremely sad..but aarohi is NOT a victim..she got into this mess willingly for her dreams and selfish ambitions..aarohi was still chasing abhimanyu even when he declared publicly that he loves her sister..

Aarohi accepted that stupid marriage Alliance from abhimanyu which she got through lies and manipulations and aarohi never backed off on her own even after witnessing and sensing that abhimanyu is not giving her any attention..aarohi saw it clearly that abhimanyu went mad for searching akshara when she got lost in jungle and both abhira were found drunk in a hut..then aarohi also saw how abhimanyu took akshu's name by mistake at the time of ring selection for aarohi and abhimanyu's engagement..these hints were totally ignored by aarohi because she was blind in her greed for power couple..

So aarohi deserves no pity or sympathy..her stupid hopes from marrying abhimanyu and winning his heart someday makes no sense to me..marriage doesn't guarantee love and respect..for example harsh and manjari's relationship..

Sometimes people stay married for years and even have children still they don't love and respect each other..love is something which happens organically and no marital bond can guarantee that..not every marriage can blossom into love..specially when one party is in love with somebody else..aarohi was purely delusional and dumb for thinking that abhimanyu will forget akshara and start loving her..why would he??..its easy to make your place in an empty heart but its impossible to replace someone else and take that person's place in somebody's heart..here aarohi thought she could replace akshara in abhimanyu's life..

The truth is Aarohi was never intending to win abhimanyu's heart..that girl was just obsessed with abhimanyu's name and power couple status..she would've never cared about getting his love or building an emotional attachment with abhimanyu because she herself never loved him or cared for his feelings..

The last paragraph is what the summary of the situation is. She was being an ostrich hiding her head in the sand. All the instances you stated + her own fear of fire truth coming out clearly show that she had every idea of how her marriage would turn out. She had no hopes built up of a peaceful domestic life from that marriage proposal other than professional growth. People are thinking from their own perspective of what an arranged marriage entails but for Aarohi it was never going to be a marriage but mere partnership. We should stop giving our own colors to her dreams because her dreams were clearly shown to be strictly professional.

I am infact amazed how she never considered that Abhimanyu would infact divorce her on the spot if the fire truth came out or Akshara confessed even after marriage ( She clearly isn't as smart as she thinks of herself at least definitely not doordarshi at all) 😂😂
