That’s the beauty of KD story! It is very complex. Just like life is! There are emotions and insecurities between the two. Could be because they know they are faltering which might throw off other person but still continue to do the right thing according to them.

Rono missing her pregnancy for sruthi is a BIG deal really. It is a moment that he missed and could have regretted later. And sai undergoing complications would except her to believe her husband would be there next to her! His absence would have scarred her which will turn into anger for a long time.
and for virat, he knows this incident can push sai away from him. Hence he fears losing her and follows her. He wants to make it up and show that while he did make a mistake by not being with her, he understands her hurt and that he loves her. It is complex. Life situations are sometimes muddy waters.

msin, what I don’t understand is how he can stay away from his daughter not fighting for her? When he knows that sai misunderstood him. Why he doesn’t clear? It is not the rono/virat we see till then? His possessiveness for sai is enough to not let her go. And now he has a daughter too?! That makes me think that the pakhi plot was not part of Leena’s story but an addition. It doesn’t fit for me!

I guess, we should stop comparing and hoping for similar scenes. They were different set of individuals, who were professionals, who knew well the job at hand well and were committed to their work. They owned their characters and gave it their everything. Here they have their reservations. We cant expect the same.

I haven't watched KD, but did see the "chudail" episode. And I knew we could never expect a copy on that aspect.
