If it's because of the backlash, I hope the announcement is shown as Ram's dream or they not show this scene on Monday giving themselves some time to fix it.

Last time backlash ke wajah se Ram folding hands in from of Shivi/Shubhu was edited. I'm hoping someone is working overtime this weekend so that the Monday episode makes more sense than the precap.

They have to CHOP OFF the whole shooting now if they are correcting it. I don't want to watch a series where the writers don't have general knowledge.

They had written and made the actors act on those dialogues is actually MORE IRRITATING than the script.

If the show is closing they don't need to catch up. They end with Priya's pregnancy. Done. Before that they will solve family problems like they always do.

I disagree re with Raya could have been shown like ZGH. In Pak series, they never even touch hands. So, we NEVER expect that the same way we would NOT expect to show us love-making prelude as we se even in BBT with Penny and Leonard because the Indian ITV audience will never take it. Bollywood movies are different; there Deepika wears bras and shoots. They can never show such boldness on ITV.

But, a general understanding of a couple is expected. Leads, especially Pri, cannot oscillate between one moment 'cozy' and another moment 'touch me not ... who art thou' attitude.

It looks like the D-sisters are like this. Now that we know that they have done it, if you go back to see the episodes then it clearly indicates the aftereffects were not consistent. When a couple does it, they have nothing to be shy about; they have seen each other and felt each other in the most possible way. How can Pri and Ram have awkwardness is beyond my comprehension and imagination?

I cannot speak for arranged marriages but in the 1900s, I understand they would have sex and never say ILU, but in 2022, I hardly doubt that any husband, Ram like, would touch their wife without those three words. He always wanted to listen to those words but not the sex part. That is the beauty of his character.

The writers messed up big time! Even if the issue was Disha, which I am suspecting now that she is married, then also you DON'T need to show kiss but at least show they are removing each other's clothes, albeit the blazer or scarf.

SERIOUSLY Man, I AM PISSED OFF.

@bold: I only suspected, but fully believe now that these scenes were lollipops to keep the FD engaged. That is why the inconsistency. Attention to détail has never been their forte, so if they added the lollipop scenes, they obviously didn’t modify the scenes that followed.

This inconsistency is what the majority of the FD is ranting about.

Yes, it's ok if they didn't want to show explicitly by taking clothes off. But at least give us monologues and dialogues? With Pri, Ram knows making out is also a VERY. BIG. THING. So, when he says special it means Pri allowed him to come NEAR her.

But, consummation and then at the doorbell scene, Ram's monologue about why the awkwardness CAN NOT mean they DID it the previous night. This is what is irritating. The writers are very amateurish.

They made those makeout scenes ambiguous on purpose - so they could modify the story however they liked.

But the problem is, if you start making out with someone - in any capacity - you get comfortable with their physical presence. There's a lot of casual affection, hand holding, not flinching away when they come close (which Priya has been doing god knows why)

It's fine if they outrightly don't want to talk about it, but at least their body language should convey that they've taken a new step in their relationship.

Yeh toh film school basics honge, nahi?
