Sonu or Arijit

KK is next level followed by Arjit. 🔥

Both are amazing singers but still Sonu has a slight edge over Arijit for me. Maybe also because I grew up listening to his songs thus I am a little biased ❤️😆 Also Arijit sings mostly just a bunch of specific type of songs, Sonu has sung all kinds of songs, if that makes sense.

Between these two, Sonu for me. I mean not that I don't like Arijit. But sometimes I feel Arijit is a music director's singer. As in how the music director hones him, he sings. There was a patch in between where Arijit apne gaano mai bass rota hi tha. It got so bad, that each time woh rone waala surr pakadta tha mai radio ka channel change karti thi. Uss hisaab se Sonu feels very consistent.

But then I have absolutely loved Arijit in Phir le aaya dil, Laal Ishq, Aayat, Aye dil hai Mushkil, Sangemarmar etc.

The results are quite.... Unexpected... For me.

Arijit mujhe bahut monotonous lagta hai plus Sonu ki range tak wo nahi pahunch sakta.

Just listen to sonu's 'ai chand teri chandni ki kasam' 'or tera jaadu chal gaya'. Even at such high pitch sonu's voice doesn't seem shrill... Plus he can sing songs at lower scales with ease too... There's a lot more variety in Sonu's singing compared to Arijit.

Arijit is boring in many songs.

Between these two... it's Sonu.

Sonu ke toh bohot saare gaane fav hai. But if I have to talk about some of his songs in the recent years toh yeh do gaane hai. You know there are some songs which touch you the very first instant that you listen to them, these two were like that for me.
