Despite winning the previous game, where both the batting and bowling came good, it is amply clear that the five-time champions haven't found a formula or even a set template.

And the first threat to their qualification chances comes from the in-form, table-toppers, Gujarat Titans.

Mumbai Indians finally got their first win of the season in the previous match against Rajasthan Royals. They are still bottom of the table with just a single win and will be keen to play for pride and possibly end the season on a happy note.

On the other hand, Gujarat Titans are the table toppers and are in a really solid position to finish in the top 2. They suffered a loss in the previous match against Punjab and will be keen to bounce back.

Ishan Kishan is one of the rare batters to have successfully countered Rashid Khan.

In 51 balls, the southpaw has scored 64 runs while the leggie hasn't been able to ever dismiss him in IPL. Is there a case to push Kishan back to the middle order?

Tilk Varma is looking in great form scoring 307 runs in 9 matches at an average of 43 and a strike rate of 137. Back him to do well in this match.

Gujarat Titans are the best side of the tournament so far and will have the upper hand because of their current form but Mumbai Indians after winning their first game will look to play freely and win this game. Despite Gujarat Titans’ good form, Mumbai Indians will win this game.

The MI middle overs could see some interesting battles if Rohit Sharma survives for as long. While the opener has enjoyed tremendous success against Lockie Ferguson, Rashid Khan has had his measure, dismissing him twice in 24 balls.
