Too much footage given to Valli past 2-3 episodes. Swapnil was probably busy with other commitments.

I would agree with everything but not with Natsamrat being a pakau movie!! It is a piece of art , a masterclass and it needs a certain sensitivity to understand a movie of that calibre!!

True... Even I loved Mahesh Manjrekar's Natasamrat. Nana Patekar was simply superb in the movie.

to each his own. Theme is certainly outdated now. It was seen repeatedly in so many movies and serials Zindagi, baghban, and so many in every language you name. Those lengthy / never-ending dialogues and monologues and tear-jerker dramas are thing of the past now. The original stage play Natasamrat in which Shreeram Lagoo acted was a classic then. But of course individual opinion differs.

It is not about the story but the way the film is shot and the way it is presented and the superb performance of Nana Patekar and Mahesh Manjrekar's superb acting which stole the show and made it a masterpiece.

I personally like Natsamrat in all forms, theater or cinema. Recently watched Mohan Joshi-Rohini Hattangadi theater version available on Zee5. Ti Phulrani is another one that I can watch in all versions and forms.

I haven't seen her perform and know her only because she's in news for all the wrong reasons. So I'm not sure if I'll watch her.
