Some called me brave, but I think I’m the opposite of that.

Recently, I said in one of my responses to Sargam’s post about armchair experts. I am good example of that, I guess. A lot of what I said in those posts were true from personal exp. How & when you voice opinions is important. Similarly, we need to be smart in picking our battles.

I have never spoken back to my parents, esp my father, except when it was about my education. This was not something I could let go & compromise. I chose to stretch and test all limits to go get a professional degree. This may not be a big deal in normal households, but it was an extremely big deal for my parents because of the lack of resources to fund it, coupled with the ridicule from relatives they had to face to "waste" resources on their daughter. This is hard to believe in this time and age, right?

Now, after many years, I wonder if I did the right thing? What have I achieved? Nothing more than my counterparts who had a regular degree. What would my life be if I had not spoken that day? These are lingering questions that haunt me.

Well, I cannot control someone else’s thoughts, perspectives nor can I force them to look at my perspective. All I can control is how I can make a change, when I am in the role of a parent. How am I faring in this role? time will tell…. 😊

No di.. Mere liye nahi hai ye hard... Because I live in that society jaha aaj bhi girls ko burden samjha jaata hai and unki education ko waste of money mana jaata hai... I personally know so much of girl who had so many dream... Jo padhna chahti thi.. Kuch banna chahti thi.. But their parents.. Specially father ne unhe ye kehke allowed hii nahi kiya ki ladki ko aage padha kar kya karna hai..konsa kama kar hume degi...😶

You know aap keh rahe hai na ki kya maine right fight pick ki... Aapne bilkul sahi chiz ke liye ladai ki di...aap apne pairo pe khade ho gaye... Aapne professional degree le li..aap aaj independent hai.. Aur mere hisaab se aapne vo jung jeet lii hai... Kyunki shayad aapne vo nahi kiya hota to aap sab chizo ke liye lad bhi lete to vo waste hii hota kyunki aapko kisi ke aage haath failane hii padte..😪

Mere papa humesha mujhse kehte hai ki... Bas ladki apne pairo pe khadi ho vo saari duniya se jeet sakti hai..vo humesha mujhe issi chiz ke liye force karte hai..😋

So aap humare liye brave bhi hai.. Aur inspiration bhi...❤

Are aap kabhi boring ho hii nahi sakte di...jawani ki kahani mai sabse best stories aapki hii thi.. Jisse hume inspiration mili... Aur shayad ab hum koshish kare ki hum bhi aapki tarah ban paaye..🤗❤️🤗
