I think with falling TRPs IPL would make it worse which would be hard to recover from even after IPL is over that's why they want to keep the audience glued in... other shows are doing important tracks too marriages, reconciliations etc for same purpose ... otherwise IPL will permanently effect their TRPs which they can't recover from later.

What i think is that the falling trps is not coz of IPL alone but also due to the same lame concept of majority itvs recently.

Almost similar content with just changes in PH and starcasts

Characters are ruined for ratings when there are other better ways to garner trps and attract audience.

More footages and importance are given to villains.

Leads are made dumb. ML turns toxic and FLs mahaan and doormat

Some with glorification of EMA tracks. Name it.

Imlie, anupama, UD, ghum , Parineeti,etc

Majority is like two ladies and one guy or one man between two FLs

All promoting triangle loves

That's why majority serials ratings are going down

People are bored
