I do r think Priya had a problem worse with signing the prenup it was the way in which the papers were flung at her and her family that she objected to. Disagree.. yes she didn't like the rudeness.. but like a typical ITV fl she had to make a huge issue of the prenup persay.

I wanted to watch Asur… but I don’t like violence and gore… how’s that element in it… too much blood shed?

Common points - Here its bangle and there in the handkerchief. Both belonged to the antagonist mother and very precious to them. Both token of love. And the best part is the story always lies in the hand of the person who holds the token of love.

Differences - Othello gives importance to the token of love ( handkerchief ) more than his love ( Desdemona) and there by destroys what could have been a beautiful married life. But here for Ram those bangles are important but not more than his love. He cares for Priya and not for the token of love.

Othello he doubts his love Desdemona as he finds the handkerchief with Cassio ( Othello's loyal captain). He doubts her having an affair with Cassio and decides to kill both Cassio and his wife. Reality is the handkerchief was planted in Cassio's room by Lago.

I am not sure if this has been the thought behind this bangle drama but whatever it is I love the fact that Ram cares for his love more than the token of love he gave Priya. There is no entrapment with token of love. When I say entrapment , I mean he doesn't believe that she needs to keep it close to her to prove her love for him. He believes in the love that she has showered on him and doesn't need any kind of proof from her. It makes him any day a better person and a great life partner.

What do you all think ??

Beautifully written. For me however this isn't a grand gesture.. any sane person with even a little bit humanity will not want someone to suffer in lieu of a token of love...so it's not love vs token of love for me. For me that scene wasn't bout R but P.. A practical person who doesn't believe in stupid gestures is doing just that coz of love. It's cute.

Priya was so damn dignified in dealing with them , she said if this is what you think of me you need to rethink not me..

There is a difference between Ram n Priya sitting and discussing things and Shubham shoving the prenup and saying sign it and prove it.

When she got to know the bank called Ram saying he is expected to pay her loans she understood maybe this is why Kapoors thought of them that way and the way she came and signed the paper with a special mention to his PERSIAN carpet was 🔥

Ohhh i loved loved that scene at Rs house. P was superb and as you said so dignified. Her dialogues were so well written and so beautifully delivered. One of my fav scenes and i have rewatched it multiple times.

What i meant by making issue was the reaction on getting the prenup. (She told MM that she is not signing it coz the contract is an insult to Soods integrity) i found that refusal ott. I accept it coz it's drama... But in real life... I don't think a prenup is so out of place.

As i explained in earlier post.. I believe a prenup is just a practical step to protect oneself. Yes it would be all rosy and romantic to start a marriage with trust... But not possible for everyone. I for one take a lot of time to trust anyone.

For me.. a prenup is just ensuring to keep financial matters separate in a marriage. Not that ill be ever in a situation to marry someone in such a little time.. not knowing anything bout them .. but if i ever was.. a prenup would make sense to me. Having that in place kind of takes away the basic mistrust that there is greed in marriage. I value my independence and would want my marriage to be never bout financial dependency.

Priya was never interested in marriage, on top of that she gets prenup … if a person like her gets it, doesn’t it question her integrity … it’s like I don’t believe you are getting married for your brother but for the money ..

If I was Priya, I wouldn’t have married Ram. I would have convinced Akki instead to marry Shivina …
