I have not watched KD so I cannot comment on how V is or is not like Rono.

To me V is very real... No one and mind you no one can be as pure as ITV characters are... Neither the males nor females... They are bound to have flaws and impulsive reactions and thought processes that do not fit a certain criteria.

FLs to sati Savitri, pativrata, sehenshil naari banate hai. That's a reason i don't watch much TV. I cannot jhelo such woman 🤣. Sai is an exception... Umeed hai bani rahegi.

Digressing but that's how the story moves... For that to move, a character has to grow.

I have a feeling V is changing... As in they are trying to enhance the better version of him more. It can be attributed to the fact that he finally has what he desired for so long. So his anger, frustration is gone and all he is thinking is positive.

His real test will come in the next kaand and how he behaves... If he keeps up the momentum built up during MiMo where he tried to balance both Sai and family it would be good. If he does priortize Sai more now and stands up for her it would be better.

Why do I feel he is changing?

It looks like he is giving thoughts to his actions. They are not impulsive random words and thinking later type of thing.

VC for the first time is not talking jalebis. Like i pointed out in my review, his intention to communicate rather than act on impulses on the special night is an indication in itself that he values communication more.

Didi aur uska reaction doesn't matter. Hasn't even looked at her properly in about 10 episodes 🤣

He gave up on trying to convince Omi and BK after a point of time which he would not have earlier.

Others may not see him like that, or feel I am biased to him but I like his character too. I don't hate him. And purely from a perspective that it shows a rawness to it.

I wanted them to have a proper meaningful conversation before moving further, b'coz the idiots have done nothing but beating around the bush and dreaming about their manifestations.

I wanted Virat to rebel rather than lying, but theeke. Lying factor will add more spicy drama, so makers chose that.

I just watched the episode. I may not have the time to rewatch today. I loved it. I loved all your reviews. I am just writing down what I felt while watching.

It is like a different Ghum, but ultimately it does tie in with how Sai and Virat were initially. With a difference. Sai is no longer as impulsive and Virat is learning to talk clearly to her so that she gets his point, rather than arguing. Yesterday Virat's lie gave the Ladakh feels. How he sweet talked Sai into coming with him, and keeping quiet about it, till it blew up in their faces for no fault of Sai's.

Today I felt differently, though he has no plan. Instead of jhooth jhooth, I would have liked Sai to ask, how do you intend to sort it out and get a plan out of him. But no worries. Their dialogues and the Sairat scenes in general were done excellently. (Arre yaar, I wish Sai had removed her head ornament at least)

Both are totally besotted and into each other. The constant ILUs and hugs were very cute. Much wanted between them. That was refreshing to watch. No cute nok jhok though they know each other so well, the conversation can get playful without losing its seriousness.

For me, Ghum was always a story about two opposite personalities brought together by fate who eventually fall intensely in love, but will always face challenges because of the difference in their personalities, due to their upbringing. And this is not about money, caste, or class, they are just very different people. But their love story is that much more intense because they are both attracted to the very same things that cause the difference. If I had to give them sun signs, I would say Sai is a Sagittarian and Virat is a cancerian. Sai - moohphat, headstrong, fearless, tend to hurt with their sharp tongue. Cancerian - emotional, vulnerable, yet strong for his loved ones, tends to brood a lot within themselves. .

Ideally, they should move out and start their life. They will regularly fight, and make up with a kiss. 😆 But we all know that's not going to happen.

I am extremely disappointed that Sai did not talk about her pain, but the whole episode was so cleverly done, there was no chance to talk about the past. I dread to think of all the repressed hurt Sai must be holding and how it will flare up in the future. I wish she would at least say that - the thought that you chose someone else over me, killed me and I lost all my composure and wisdom to think...or something.

The new director is doing a great job. There's a lot of attention to detail and tiny nuances are being taken care of. 👏

PS: Can we move beyond hugs? Little bit of closeness while standing, casual holding would not mean their SR has been done. I want to see Virat being flirty with full permission from his baiko. Neil would ace those scenes. We have been deprived of these scenes for a year. Definitely, we deserve to get a few romantic scenes between them.

Yeah..cleverly done, I must say. I agree. The premise of the episode - how much Sai & Virat have changed over the year(s) - it was pretty engaging & nice.😊 It kind of managed to gloss over the uneasiness one felt at Sai not vocalizing her pain or getting sweet-talked.

Glad about the new director. 😳
