Casual & moderate complimenting is fine - hey u look v nice. But this kind of excessive complimenting of a married woman u barely know (so what if u were fm same school, yeh koi license nahin hai) who is not your friend from before - not cool, not gentlemanly. Anyone hearing this wld misconstrue if Pri had said thank u coyly. So glad she gave back mentioning her hubby.
In fact in the first few years of corpo life when I was in my 20s & recently married, I always had this trick to keep flirting colleagues at arms distance, I wld keep mentioning my hubby in conversation or if someone complimented I wld say, thank u thats what my hubby says & I like hearing it from him.
cannot agree more…
@bold: What I liked about Krish and Priya’s equation Was it was refreshing and he filled in for a much needed friend in her life. It was refreshing. What’s up with this “ Ek ladka aur ladki kabhi dost nahi ho sakte “ mentality 😡
I felt he crossed that subtle line with the way he complemented her. And thank God Priya did not avoid it by ignoring and accepting it jus to be courteous the way Ram used to conveniently ignore all such signals from Vedika… 😡😡😡
@pink: isSmmart Girl 😎, exactly the way I also used to handle it. 😆
I have also been slightly rude with men who think they are a boon to all women kind and hence have the license to flirt.
