While I realize that love at first sight isn't really "love," I do believe in strong initial attraction and sparks flying at first sight.

It doesn't necessarily have to be only romantic love though. Some people's energy can literally feed your soul too and that doesn't have anything to do with hormones. Think of that one friend with whom you bonded immediately and who can uplift your mood just by being in the same room as you, for instance.

Movies go overboard with that train of thought but in reality, that first connection, while pretty intoxicating, won't necessarily get you running to the altar to lock them down for the rest of your life. But it's a special moment regardless.
