SRK to build a 'world-class cricket stadium' in greater Los Angeles !!

Great initiative to promote Cricket in USA👏👍🏼

His statement read, "Plans to build a world-class cricket stadium in the greater Los Angeles area is exciting for us and MLC. This will no doubt have a transformational impact for cricket in one of the world's most iconic metropolitan destinations."

The statement further read, "Our investment in MLC in America, is based on our belief in the exciting future of cricket in the USA." He also added that this step is "well-aligned" to his strategy of establishing his team as a global brand in T20 cricket.

I just hope that the stadium can withstand SRK's awesomeness and not fall down on its own... 😆

I am guessing this is the first cricket stadium in USA....cricket is being promoted here by Indians....Some schools even have Cricket as a sports choice along side sports like, Tennis, Basketball, soccer etc....This is one step towards that....Awesome step by SRK..👍🏼....This will be used mostly be Desi people....they will make sure it never falls down...

I'm sure they'll ensure it never falls down... I was just worried that the stadium might go weak in its legs seeing SRK in his full awesome glory. 😳

Who the heck is gonna watch cricket in America? Crickets, that’s who

15 acres of land in the city of Irvine California?!! This sounds more like an investment in a real estate deal than anything. Americans already have baseball that they are crazy about. I don’t see them taking to cricket. Not enough to make MLC popular the way baseball, basketball, and American football is. Soccer is still struggling and that one has more universality than cricket.

Don't understand why these celebrities don't to do much to the cause of Indian Hockey.

Hockey has presence across most parts of the world and it is played in many many more countries than Cricket which is only played among the ex-British Colonies.

Can't blame the celebrities but even average Indians don't know why they don't support Hockey as much as they support cricket.
