Its lazy on hotstar and PH gets to make lot of money. Is a loss leader for them but they want to compete for their other streaming.

Unfortunately PH did not realize it could impact their actual show and now all the attention and activity, inteviews, BTS, precap etc. to bring audience back.

Not sure of hotstar releases their digital footprint numbers.

Plus it also depends with other shows, if the number is low but high compared to others it would be considered a success. I have seen Netflix's numbers but again depends on how they measure it. Netflix considers if people watch 2 minutes of a show as a full viewer and add to total minute watching.

It’s a major uphill task and if they can’t bring the audience back in the shaadi track then they will never be able to bring back.

Seriously they wasted so much resources on that prequel.. be it financially or man power. Rupali was drained by the end of it and yet the prequel has same outcome as the show, V remains creep infact more creepy and a monster

I do not think it was about any image. Its was all about the money and the first venture of RJ and his daughter who also turned producer with this prequel. It would have been better to bring a new concept on OT, but they thought this would be a sure success and Hotstar was willing to pay.

Have you seen how much hotstar has paid to buy some flop movies. Its astronomical 🤑🤑🤑

She used to recite poems too. She's so innocent and bubbly and full of life, I always speculated this but can totally see now why Anuj fell for the college Anu.
