point #1 is going to be interesting to see in the upcoming track - I'd love to see Imlie sort of realizing and tell him what she really thinks about him - from the promo we see Aryan's guilt and self-loathing come out as soon as he finds out about Meethi forcing Imlie for the 7th phera - I feel like he's projecting negative feeling that he has about himself and his behaviour towards Imlie and telling himself that that is how Imlie herself feels

it could be self-loathing but it is also imlie's words and reactions. she made it clear that she was unhappy with him turning the tables on her to make it romantic. she saw him as some sort of demon for wanting revenge on aditya. so in that sense, he is not far off -- the problem is that imlie has changed but hasn't conveyed it in words. am still not sure why she even came back to the rathore house. as a viewer if I don't know, how is the character supposed to know? đŸ€·

That was beautiful Mango. i am always so impressed by your writing and depth of understanding you have on these topics :) always love to hear your perspective also thanks for the tag.❀

now for the post. i loved this scene and what i also liked about it was the background music that really enhanced the interaction for me.

what i also liked about this scene was how controlled it was when he started the dance versus when she started leading it. That's when his uncertainty and her unawareness around how she was affecting him came through.

i could understand everything he said except for when he says you cant see arpita happy.

when he said i don't care - he cares so much. all his frustration and angst like everybody has said before comes from his inability to be everything good for her and now he has started suspecting that Meethi manipulated imlie in saying yes his guilt is tremendous. he hated being called a rakshash and i thought he was over it but as he brought it up again it so heartbreaking. for someone who holds her in such high esteem thinks so badly of him. she hasn't shared with him that she has changed her mind and he isnt reading her well because he is so distraught over the fact that she thinks so low of him. he is rakshash, he is not her sathi, patni, humsafar. that even despite the fact that he sees her noticing him, her hugs, her gentleness with him of late - he is in denial perhaps because he is tryign to save his heart from further pain or because he doesn't want to cross any more lines with her or hope.

when she asks about her happiness...

His answer to her question was so absolute, so certain. and you are all right - i could see all her moments in my mind. the return from pd, the time when she asks him to distract her and he tells her about his mr india stint, the cross eyed among others. they just flashed across my eyes and such a lovely reminder of their moments together.

tum hansti ho tua me jee uthta hoon. thats what i heard :)

his teesri baat - was so sad

her tua mein bhi ka - was so soft and intimate

i think his teesri baat is now traumatic for her because of how he handled her during the wedding. His words in this moment like during the date were touching her heart and melting her and she was ready to take him in her arms and go with him wheveer he took her but whenever he says teesri baat there is this visible straightening of her spine (may be its my imagination) and she emotionally disconnects.

the softness that i am seeing in her expressions since the date night has my heart. ST is such a phenomenal actress. She looks so innocent and in trance. so lovely.

BTW were you watching the hira mani drama? i saw it too it was quite addictive. i am re watching a drama called besharam - it is amazing.

neha -- ooh I didn't notice the change in flow of dance energy at all. just a minor quibble but many times, I feel that slow dance in ITV is not quite done right. not sure what is missing but the grace, the flow maybe??? it always feels like the movements are too aerobics/disco like when waltz inspired slow dance is supposed to be like flowing water...part of me wants to say, "slow it down, get in tune, move more airy.." đŸ€· so yea, I sort of close my eyes so I can enjoy the dance without getting too critical ...

yea I finished "yeh na thi hamari qismat" -- I liked it but I must admit I can't really relate to the super responsible robot type older sister. like ayan was surprised when she laughed, so was I a little. 😆 I have watched besharam and I liked that -- lot of sizzle and clash. my type of drama! if you have recommendations, let me know. am not a fan of rhona dhona or defeated sombre characters.
